This is not a life defining moment, but it might interrest somebody. I'm soining the singles' club again. Little C and I had a chat, and agreed to go separate ways. (Well, kind of.)

Not exactly a tear jerking desicion. More of an adaptation to reality. We've been playing bf/gf charade on borrwed time for a while now, and we both know that we haven't and never will get past the stage of being merely infatuaded. We know what the real thing is, and are too stubborn to settle for a comfort substitute. So we just changed the official label of what we are from "item" to "individuals". From couple to bestest friends. We're still on for popcorn and a rental later tonight. So yeah, I'm fine. No need for sympathies, unless said acts of sympathy involve setting me up for dates with your totally hawt friends (or with your totally hawt yourselves ).

My only grudge is that this is another reminder of my streak of not-really-real relationships that end with a shrug. Next time, I want a solid long term prospect, or at least some drama.

Same here. I put getting in a relationship in the same category as winning the lottery. Makes for nice fantasies, I'll really enjoy if it happens, but I ain't planning my life around it.
