As I was sitting here surfing and thinking of responding to some of the comments on the thread about the rape I heard tires screeching and noticed lights flashing out in front of my place. Being me I just had to brave the Fleas and check it out.
Here's the scene. One car pulled over by two local cruisers. Beside the cruisers is a County Cruiser. At either end of the car are two guy who look to be in their twenties. As I'm looking at this another car pulls up and two more young guys climb out. This is soon followed by another County Cruiser.
The guys from the second car try to aproach the first car and are stopped. They return to their car and start yelling insults at the police and advice to the guys from the first car. The police ask them repeatedly to be quiet. Finally they threaten arrest and they become quiet.
The police cuff one of the guys from the first car and escort him to a cruiser. They start to search the car and talk to the second guy. They have the second guy assume the position and start cuffing him when the other two must have decided this was enough. They left their spot by their car and start walking towards the officers. They were intercepted by two officers and ordered back to their car. One of them became somewhat mouthy and one of the cops told him to shut up before he got himself into trouble.
This must not have gone over well, one of the guys charged at and attacked one of the officers.
One guy hit the side of the cruiser and was easily subdued. The other started wrestling with an officer. He managed to get in a couple of shots to the cop before another officer joined in. He was holding his own when two more cruisers showed up. (ONe local and another county.) He was quickly piled and cuffed.
As they braced him against a cruiser and searched him he screamed about brutality and how the damned pigs were violating his rights. He informed them that his "Boys" would take care of them.
Now the funny thing is, all of the gangs around here are either Black or Hispanic. (We do have a couple coming up out of Miami.) He happened to be a white boy.
Yep the cops here are disrespectful and abusive. They gave these little weasels every chance and they blew it. You do not walk up to a cop and hit him and not expect to be arrested for it.
