My parents are coming down to visit tomorrow. I'm making some Pulled Pork.

I changed the recipe a bit. (Nothing new there.)

Chop an Onion and drop it into the Crock Pot.

PLace a Boston Butt into the Crock with the fatty side up.

Pour in a can of Beer.

Chop another Onion and place on top of the meat.

Add some Minced Garlic. (I minced up two cloves for this one.)

A couple of Table Spoons of Liquid Smoke poured over the meat.

A handfull of Little Birds scattered on top of the meat and alongside it.

Cover and cook on low for 12 hours.

Tomorrow I'll pull the meat and scoop out the Onions and Peppers. The juice will be dumped as will the peppers. The meat will be shredded and returned to the pot with the onions. A bottle of BBQ Sauce will be mixed in and thw whole mix will be cooked for another six hours.

Because my father has just had Dental Surgery I will be serving this on plates with Garlic Bread and Slaw. (Extra Sauce and Hot Sauce on the side of course.)

Right now it's smelling damned good.
