I want photos of this in action - I'm sure Etoile would enjoy them.
Daddy sent me a picture actually!

I would imagine those make excellent collectibles. The only thing I'm not sure about is the wisdom of publically humiliating a law enforcement officer. It's one thing to do it to a sub, it's something else entirely to erode the public's trust by having a cop pointed out as being corrupt or simply insolent.

Clearly I am thinking this through too much...I should just sit back and enjoy the kitty. http://www.amanita.net/images/smilies/hellokitty.gif

I think I have panties to match that arm band.

Now, if only I could remember where might I have left them.....

As funny as this is, I can see it being effective. I applaud their effort. :)

I can see this as being very effective, especially in a society that takes status and how you are viewed very seriously.

On a sidenote, I can see how this could also be effective as a form of correction for behaviour stepping outside of what has been agreed to be acceptable in a relationship, where the partner who has stepped out of line would wear something (agreed on mutually beforehand) that would indicate that they have breached their agreement of absolute trust in one another. This could include something obvious to be worn in private, and something innocuous that only the two of them would know of in public. Options could be in place for the partner who has transgressed to ask to make amends when they felt the time was right, or for the other to determine an appropriate time period for it to be worn.

hmmmm, an intriguing thought :)

I found it verrrrrry funny but yes, in that society it could be effective.

hopefully the public is smart enough not to laugh out loud at them... i'd be afraid of the consequences of acknowledging their humiliation.

This, along with the prisoner dancing to the Sister Act songs has truely made my day.

(And made me want to watch Sister Act again.)
