This evening my wife and I were kicking back and watching the tube. Mythbusters if you must know. On top of the tube one of our cats was sleeping.
Well in themiddle of the show Squeek decided to get a bit more comfortable.
As we watched she rolled over. Her tail went out and her claws went up as she started to slide down the sloping backside of the TV.
We could hear her claws as she tried to get a grip on the plastic backing of the TV without result. We then heard that quiet thump as she bodily hit the floor behind the TV Stand. This was followed by a scrambling noise and she quickly came out from behind the TV with her head and tail held high as though nothing had happened.
My wife and I looked at each other and started laughing as Squeek stalked around the room looking disgruntled at our laughter. This of course had us laughing even harder.
There is nothing quite as funny as a clumsy cat trying to look like they meant to do something.
