I'm happy to see you Dave! Walking?

We had a beautiful weekend and I soaked up the warmth like a sponge and I feel like a recharged battery, the cold has left my bones. Now it's raining again, but I'm please beacUse I planted somethings and the rain and lack of sun is a gentler start to life in this garden for them. It's not cold, so it's ok growing conditions. Our new , tiny pond has a toad visiting it, so I keep wandering out to check it is happy.

We were planning on getting a few native fish, maybe tiny minnows, for the pond, ( mainly to control any fly larvae etc that might be bred in there....it's the one drawback of water ( having no toddlers to drown) but maybe if toads are going to visit we should hold off.

I had a plant delivery this morning and have potted up some delphiniums and to tea plants. I'm not sure how the tea will do here, but, I am going to try. If it survives I will get two more.

I'm walking every day. I'm ready to bring my bicycle out. The leaves have started to pop out on the trees, finally... the forest service says the fire danger is "very high." If fire ever comes, we'll have to run for our lives.

Your pond sounds great! I've thought of doing the same, but it involves so much work... I think. I like salamanders-- they seem so fragile-- I dream of a pond that's a salamander refuge.

The flowers are growing. A couple are blooming, and I have all of my newly purchased plants waiting in the greenhouse. As soon as the threat of frost has passed, they're going in the ground. Although some are hardy enough to plant now. I just hate to lose them.

G dug the hole for my tiny pond as my birthday present. :). It's deep enough to avoid ice, ( deeper than it is wide!) and it only took him a day! The pump arrived in the post today. We have paving stones for the surround and have put them on the ground to mark out where they will go, but have not laid paths properly...that's a less great weather job. We have not chosen edging stone for the pond though, we might get to that this weekend. I'd like to get the lining concealed :D.

Did I miss your birthday???

Happy late birthday. :eek::rose:

That looks like a lovely way to spend the day. :)

It was truly spectacular!

No crocs?

Not a one, and I know because I went underwater looking for them.

Did you catch a fish Jezzi? It looks beautiful.

I didn't, but it was still a glorious day!

Oh nice. I like this one!

Thank you darlin!

A perfect day, no doubt. Sometimes the fishing isn't even the most important thing.

You, sir, are wise!

Yes that is the new sundress, I will attempt to post a better picture of it tonight....

Elle? How is girl dog doing? Also, please pm me your email address again as I have a photo especially for you!

She's the same. She is on seven meals a day, and she is hovering at thirty kilos ish. She is having anti biotic pulse therapy with her other pills, so, every other week. But...between times she seems happy.:rose: I've asked my vet to tell me when. I just feel, this time, that I am....not sure I know when enough is enough.

Sending pm :rose:

Sent some pix!! It is so hard when our fur babies health begins to decline. They cannot tell us what is wrong and we love them so much it is hard to let go. I hope girl dog gets healthier and you have much more time together.

I am thinking about going to the mud drags this weekend. I went to my first ones last year, my cousin participates and a fun time is had by all the local red necks!

I am going to wear a sundress. When I put them away for the winter last year I was up to 46 sundresses. I had to goodwill a few this spring as I lost more weight, but I also acquired about six new ones already. I would say my new total is around 50. People wonder why I need so many sandals? I say that's a given. I never used to like to wear dresses, I have always been a tomboy, love to get dirty and enjoy nature, but these past few years I have gotten in touch with my feminine side. I really love getting dressed up and sundresses in the summer are my personal utopic uniform!!

Next time I have the most favorite sundress on I will take full pix... will ya'll settle for my faux lesbian short hair pic today instead?

50 sundresses? Wear a different everyday and it'll be winter before you wear them the third time. Sundress calendar for Wisconsin.

Nice hair, Jezzi. Dare I say it looks cute? Bees knees?

Dave, sometimes women get changed in a day.:). But dresses can still be worn for most things shorts etc can be. I prefer dresses. I'd like to see, jezzi!

I agree about the hair! Also...I think you just look brilliant; vibrant and healthy, you are glowing.

You're adorable! :)

You all are (way) too kind.... I'm ok with the cut now as I am getting used to it. Going in for a new one soon and color. I'm thinking blonde and hmmmm red or true pink or purple. Will have to decide when I get there!
