I think the tattoo sounds meaningful and important for you. :rose: Why the rush to have three and the piercing? Are the other two as important? If so I get it.

It is, and so are they. My second one is for my dad.

This is the tattoo that I am getting for my father on my forearms.

I wont be getting it soon. One on Friday, possibly another small one, but my artist is only in town for a limited time. He is excited about the one I am getting because of the entire process I put him through last night. He could see how much it means to me that it is perfect, and not just because it is going to be a permanent part of my body, but because it is for my sister. She was my best friend. She had a lot of problems, but she was really a wonderful, kind hearted person. Do not even get me started on my father... I think this about sums it up. I am getting a tattoo to memorialize my daddy. The only thing is, my biological father is still alive and well somewhere in Washington. The man that raised me will forever be in my heart and on my arms...

I was being a little facetious there Michael. I am not going through a mid life crisis. I am not getting my eyebrow pierced, and I am not getting three tattoos. I am getting one this week....there is no rush. I want them to be perfect.
 
What are you thankful for? Today the long term ex told me that he is thankful he kept his old phone so he could watch that one video that he likes so well...

I asked him to send it to me and was told the phone is so old he can't get the video off because he has no compatible cords...thank goodness for small favors. That video will never see the internet!

Now you know what I am thankful for lol.... okay maybe there is more than that!!!

I am thankful for all of you!!!
 
I am thankful for my kids and having made good friends already with good advice about the job and the independence to be able to not work today.

haven't decided whether to do combat on Black Friday yet or not.

I hope the branch of the Oh, Que crew that celebrated Thanksgiving today had a very good one. And, I hope the rest of you just had a happy Thursday.

I'm really thankful that I have so much to be thankful for. My life is good. :)

I did not. although I have a similar feeling from eating movie popcorn and toasted carmalized almonds.

The lovely mother of my children fix me a plate to go when I dropped off the small one, so I shall enjoy leftovers tomorrow like the rest of you.

...And in movie reviews: the good dinosaur is horrible. it's as if they just sort of brainstormed some ideas that they wanted to have in a movie, storyboarded it out and then just gave it to some animators. Atrociously written.

I had a really fun day. We went out, and G and I danced in the street to a buskers music, I bought a pair of boots ( the ones I actually wanted have sold out, but I am getting sensible black, the first pair of black foot wear I have bought for a good decade, maybe its time to have some sensible coloured food wear :(. I certainly need some winter foot wear in anycase. And the ones I am getting are leather not suede, all the others I likes were suede, and I think that is not so practical. :(. Then I bought some good things at my favourite cosmetic store, where they redid some of my make up to try what I was buying and then because I had tried foundation, they quickly did the rest of my face too, so I looked finished. I didn't buy anything in the Christmas or Black Fridays deals but they were sweet and gave me a free lipstick anyway, and one of my favourite lipstick pencils. Then I had my eyebrows done...not pierce Jezzi, but threaded. First time I have ever had it done, as I have rather pathetic eyebrows and never thought it would make much difference, but it really has, they have made them look less pathetic by taking some away, and the shape is subtly but incredibly better. Its not like a manicure where I always think...well, I could do that, paint my own nails...this is better than I do myself. I wonder how long it will be maintainable for.

I was getting acrylics every three weeks. My job was not conducive so the $75 was really not worth it... I still get pedicures though. I love them!
