Well we do need the rain down ehre but this is a bit much.

We are under a severe T-Storm Watch. There was a Funnel Cloud spotted ten minutes ago several miles south of us. We ended up turning off the TV because we couldn't hear it over the rumbling of the thnder. HEll I can't see accross the street through the rain.

I'm hoping it keeps on raining although from the weather maps I have seen it will stop within the next hour or so.

Be safe.

God really hates trailer parks.

It rained pitchforks and hoe handles up here for about an hour--then quit. The thunder is still rumbling and the sky is getting dark again.

There was a tornado warning south of here about 10 minutes ago--funnel cloud on the ground.

We sure do need the rain though--just not all this other crap! :D

Be safe, Cat!

Reminds me of going to see my daughter last Tuesday evening. Took her to Dairy Queen and they locked everyone in because the town's tornado siren was going off. They moved us into the back hallway until state troopers came in and said all was well.

The great thing was we were offered anything we wanted, free of charge. :D (Well, that and holding my daughter because she was scared shitless. )

Well it seems to have stopped here. (Damn.) The worst of it went both north and south of us.

Here we got roughly half an inch according to my rain gauge. No where near what we need. (Right now we are at the point that we need two Tropical Storm Systems to come through. Th first to wet the ground and the second to refill the lakes.)
