I think I hear a rather dirty story here. Confused, bewildered like that day dreaming character in those Saturday morning cartoons, staring at the blackboard equating that thigh shaking feeling with . . . that big, white piece of chalk curving and etching . . .

Of course it is an adult education class, perhaps add a foreign tongue Yes, that might work.
