It's kind of funny how we adjust to our environments.
Here I grew up in cold country. I thought nothing of going camping when it was well below zero. Working outside in Sleet or Freezing Fog was not a big deal. Hell I was doing things like pulling nets when it was well below freezing. I would dig through Ice to set traps without gloves. I would do things like SCUBA Dive in waters below 40°F wearing nothing but a 7mm suit. Cold didn't bother me and I laughed at people who were affected by it.
Now though I have been living in southern Florida for a bit more then eight years. I don't bother turning on the A/C until candles start melting. I'll rake the lawn in temps that make people melt and head for the hospital and don't think about it.
Eight year ago 65°F was Shorts weather. I would have been sweating and cussing because I was hot. Now I'm sitting here with a blanket wrapped around my shoulders.
I reckon I have adjusted.
