WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Lawmakers will examine possible shortcomings in law enforcement or intelligence in the case of a Tennessee shooting that killed five servicemen, a top Republican said on Sunday, adding that the case may be linked to Islamic State.

Representative Mike McCaul, who heads the U.S. House of Representatives homeland security committee, told ABC's "This Week" program the case highlighted growing concern about Internet-based directives from Islamic State leaders in Syria

Obviously the FBI fucked up so congress will protect us.

This part is good though.
Representative Ed Royce, who heads the House Foreign Affairs Committee, said lawmakers were also looking at changing federal law to allow Marines and other troops to fire at attackers at U.S. facilities, much as they now can overseas.
Civilians can defend themselves but the military has to rely on the police to arrive.

Hard to believe that security measures do not offer more checking and inquiry. Forty years, not many had reasons to worry.

It is 2015, and it is not as if this has not happened, before.

you can be sure Muslims will have fake attacks on teh soldiers and when shot dead teh SOLDIERS WILL BE CHARGED WITH MURDER

Considering the two locations where the shootings took place it's not difficult to believe at all, since they both deal primarily with civilians and non-active duty personnel.

Making it difficult to get near is not going to be conducive to getting people to enlist.
