I found it on another site! It’s my life’s work. Without it I’m nobody! YOU must go forth and protect it as you would Doestoyevski! I can’t believe how low some people are! I make money off this shit now! I don't post it here for free!

Oh, wait. It’s just my porn. It’s freeware. My gawd. The fact that someone’s masturbating over it right now…

Well, I NEED MORE PRAISE THAN THAT DAMNIT! :D

You know, a more shallow person would be flattered that someone else cared that much…

Or scared of ANYONE who shared the same fantasy :D !

The HORROR!

Like anyone uses their fucking real names anyway. Exactly what rights do imaginary people have?

That's right. Let's see, there's Poor Richard, Anne Landers, Dr. Watson, Dr. Suess, Dr. Spock, Richard Bachman...

Most of Dixon Carter Lee's stories are all licensed to Literotica.com, and any web site that steals them, even free sites, are legally violating copyright.

Somone steal one of AJ/MarkovCain/AndraJenny/SYNthisist/AJacks' stories, so he'll dreaming he's me.

Many authors don't use their real name, does your theory apply to them as well?

Blah blah real name. Blah blah debunk eternal theory. Blah Blah you're wrong.

SINth, which story of yours been stolen?

Which pen name did you use this time?

Post a link here, okay?

I want to read it and jerk off.

 So my labor has no value to you? My work should be freely passed around without my consent or knowledge simply because I put it up here at Literotica and therefore it has no intrinsic value?

I put my stories up here for a very specific reason. One that I get from no other site. Ever. Period. I do not put them up because I want to share a fuck story. I put them up because I want you to read it and if you're one in a thousand, send me a note. No other site does that.

I will get pissed off about it if I choose. I will sue--reveal my private information--if necessary to protect my work. It has monetary value as well as feedback value, you know. Websites who use my work without permission usually gain advertising revenue and give me absolutely nothing in return. The dubious "exposure" means nothing to me because I am not in touch with the readership as I am here at Lit.

I don't give a flying fuck how much my labor means to you. Make fun if you like. However, my time and my effort--and I put quite a bit into it--means enough to me to protect my rights.

We do NOT live in Communist Country where everything is communally owned and shame the fuck on you if you think that MY labor should be community property just because you are an asshole fucktwat.

I can't write but I still respect someone's work as their personal property, no matter the quality.

You on the other hand want to make light of ownership because you have some silly personal vendetta.

What a goober.

Pseudonyms are used by many authors for many reasons one of which is keeping their private life seperate from their published one. If you don't see that the work is still theirs, and it's an issue of property and artistic integrity then you are more of an ass than I thought you were, and I didn't think that was possible.

I know several Hong Kong citizens on the net, nominally they are in a communist country where everyone owns everything.

I have stories here. They're not very good (not looking for compliments I'm learning to write better stories), I write because I enjoy it. But that doesn't mean that I wouldn't be angry if I found my work somewhere that I didn't give permission for it to be. It's mine and if I don't have a measure of control over it then it has been stolen, just like your TV would have been if it was in a complete stranger's house.

As for expecting Laurel (and Manu in all likelihood) to actively protect my work. I'd be glad if they do and I'm sure that they would, because they are also protecting this wonderful brainchild of theirs called Literotica.

And I'm sure everyone here would applaud that.
