So here is the issue. Many, many years ago my wife and I went to an office party dressed as Mrs. Santa Claus and Santa. It was a small firm and easy to get away with, young and foolish is probably what the others said. We were the hit of the party and we still laugh about it.
Now I find myself with another firm, invited to a Christmas Party at the boss's house. This is an interior design/interior architecture firm. Everyone form the office (about 18 people) their significant others, vendors, and clients will be invited, as many as 300 people. I've only been with this firm a year, last year we had an opening party for the new office, no Christmas Party, so this will be my first. Last years party was outrageous, catered, drinks flowed, attire ranged from businees like to outrageous (again thanks to gay males
.
Since being with this firm I've been to numerous office engagements, from the official suit and tie dinner to the benefit where males danced in speedos (Yea, I gawked)
The typical attire is cocktail dresses for the women, suit with no ties for the men. However, there is a large contignent of gay males invited and, without being biased, their attire tends to be more outrageous. I've heard velvet suits and/or pants are not anywhere near out of the realm of possibilities.
I suggested to the wife we find a classy sexy Mr & Mrs Claus outfit for this party. She would hear nothing of it. LOL So, is there such a thing? Could I find an outfit for both my wife and myself that would say this is Mr & Mrs Claus, without being the fat ol guy and old lady? Something sexy yet classy?????
