I don't think sex will turn out to be the issue here, depending on the age of consent in the Dominican Republic. It's possible that screwing a 16 year old there is perfectly legal.

The real issues are ethics rules and campaign finance laws. And AJ is right. As long as the Senate is controlled by Democrats, it's likely they won't address the ethics issues at all, but the FBI is investigating so he may not escape the campaign finance laws.

Oh, I completely understand sigh. The problem is that one begets the other. Ethical/moral shortcomings tend to bleed over from one area to another. Once the individual, or a society, begins to rationalize an excuse for one behavior the path to rationalizing other behaviors is not only straight forward, it's virtually inevitable. It is the path of "the ends justify the means."
