Ode For Ignorant Newbies

I'm so proud to be a newbie
And not know a fucking damn thing
It's fun to piss-off all the know-it-alls
And to listen while those dumb-bells ring

And I'd never be some big ass guru
Or even an experienced voice
Because I revel in my own ignorance
My superior philosophy of choice

You see, not knowing has it's own kind of power
You simply hunch up your shoulders and frown
Say hey - I simply didn't know that
Fuck you, you snobbish dull clown

So if the question must boil down to
For one to learn or not so to learn
I for one am big on arson
To light a match and just let it all burn

The rhymes just lead me to those words. Hey what can I say? It's not like I spent any time on it. Besides, harsh biting humor has its place. And you must remember - I never really mean anything I say.

Yeah but what you are saying in that ode is that I am soon to be a big ass guru! I would say that is a little harsh. I have never put down newbies but I am still classed as those type of people who do. I have never said I know everything because I don't. I don't have power or am a know it all. Just because I have been here longer then some doesn't mean I am a better person and that I should be condemed because I am not a virgin anymore. So there!

Nice point there Spraky.. I liked it.. maybe some day some one will actually get your message that you are trying to convey.. I loved your poem and it rings trueth about learning and how the older generations holds back the learning of the younger generations.. and the older generation wonders why the younger generation is so ignorant.. it is because the younger generation learns from the older and some of the older generation seems to be even more Ignorant, dispite how intelegent they are..

well...as a newbie...i still agree it was pretty harsh. but some of the shit i read about newbies has totally inhibited me from posting here. not everyone treats us terribly poorly, but some have. but i have never let myself be intimadated before...until now that is...so as of now, i wont let it happen again. so that means youll be seeing a lot more of me. lol lucky you guys.
