Oddest real life thing you've ever done for a story?

I've pulled from real life for my stories, but I think I crossed the line. Maybe I'm alone in this - but I'm curious if anyone else has tried something they find outrageous trying to add some believability to a story? (And are you willing to admit it?)

Risking personal embarrassment, I'll even go first. My BDSM story, "Cleverly Disguised," included a scene where the main character is forced to give himself a golden shower. After forcing several glasses of water on him, his Mistress puts him an awkward position and forces him to give himself a golden shower.

I liked the scene, but was it practical? And if it was, what would it be like for him?

For the record, I'm not into golden showers. I've never received one, requested one, jerked-off to the idea of one, or even been attracted to video of one. I'm not squirmish. The idea just never did anything for me.

But there was the scene, sitting on my computer...

Risking TMI - I climbed into my bathtub, got into position, and tried it. The experiment resulted in a paragraph that I knew was faithful to real life.

No, I don't have a new fantasy/kink. I don't write BDSM. I felt out of my element. I immediately took a real shower, applied what I learned to my story, and thought I put it behind me. But nearly two months later I'm left thinking, "Did you really....?" And now, have any of you?

I experienced sounding as research for my Dark Angel Sounding series. And sex in the cockpit of a plane--although, in that case, the sex came some years before the story did.

I've got a fertile enough imagination that I've never been tempted to try anything outre' in Real Life. Never needed to.

Coincidently...

I have a story in my files where my character forces her girlfriend to piss on her-- and then tongues said girlfriend through her panties. Girlfriend is trans, and not real happy about having her boy-shaped parts getting any attention at all.

And in fact, I am hesitant about publishing the story, or any story about trans women, without some practical experience, so yeah. I'm actively on the lookout for a girl who will play that way.

I find it's much easier to indulge in flights of fancy when i have something to fly from, if you know what I mean...

In chapter two of the finale of my series I had a a fight scene featuring the main character against multiple attackers.

I've taken kenpo and tai kwon do since my early teens and usually have some good visuals of those types of scenes.

This time I the mind was struggling so when I went to the Dojo I had a few guys get in the ring with me and help choreograph it.

I didn;t tell them what to do, just told them to come after me and see where it went.

Well I was doing pretty well and got this dumb ass adrenilin rush and executed this beautiful flying spin kick that I hadn't even tried in a few years.

When I landed my right knee buckled and I had to go to the emergency room

I guess there was a reason I had stopped trying things like that. I had to wear a knee brace for ten days.

Nothing let setting the bar high for yourself. But I'm a bit confused - When you say the girlfriend is trans and has boy-parts, is the g/f a pre-op man?

I've only known one transgender woman - and by that, I mean she was a physically a woman, but wanted to live her life as a man and be accepted as a man. She had a girlfriend/wife who accepted her for precisely what she was and they lived in a very committed relationship as husband and wife.

Here's the part that got really confusing to me - While "Ash" (not the person's real name) dressed and presented as a man, insisted on being treated as a man, etc., she had no interest in owning a cock. She claimed she didn't like cock because "Dude, I'm not gay."

I'm male and bi. As a man, I love my dick. I'm very proud of it, LOL. I can't imagine being a man and not owning a dick, too.

Stella, you could be the best person I know to unfuck that bit of confusion for me!

I've used my imagination since I tend to deal with Celebrities (even if they are cartoons/anime characters sometimes)! I've always wondered what traveling through the Stargate or on the Enterprise is like though... makes me wish I could be my favorite character (who's story I should write for you all and submit as it does deal with sex) in real life.

*wishes he had the power to transform into the Avatar of Justice for real so he could actually visit alternative universes (like the Pokemon one)*

I will sometimes assume the positions that I am describing for my characters while engaged in various sexual acts. I find this helpful when my characters are playing on a piece of furniture I have never used, or in some unusual combination. The point is to be sure that the appropriate parts line up properly, that feet can touch the floor when necessary, and to make sure no one's head is banging into a wall or another piece of furniture unnecessarily.

I'll add another thing I tried - somewhat reluctantly - and later found it very useful in my writing. Kissing another man. Deep, soulful, full tongue action kissing. It wasn't what I expected. It was supposed to be a mutual jerk and suck kind of hook-up. But then he pulled me into his arms, grabbed my junk, and planted a kiss on me. Not interested in ruining the mood for him, I played along. While I thought he was a good kisser, it didn't do anything for me.

However, I learned how scratchy stubble can feel - a sensation I never encountered kissing women. Which worked for me in the opposite direction, too. When two women kiss - no stubble! (Well, typically... no stubble.)

The guy who rimmed me - that was interesting, too, and not as much fun as I had hoped.

(geez, Buck - either leave some mystery or save it for your stories!)
