Okay, this is odd. I just looked at the poetry list and the first 6 spots have my poems in them and so does the 8th spot. Though, I know this will be gone by morning... lol I just checked the up-to-date scores on my member page and someone is now working very hard to vote them down... lol Kidding! But the scores are dropping...
Anyway, does someone out there suddenly love my poetry enough to vote that many up the list? If so, thanks!

while back.....its never like that for long anyway....

I just checked this list this AM (9:40am EST) and
you have quite a few of your poems on there....

I've said before that I don't really care about the top list, but when you see a group of your poems together at the top like that you feel all... eeeeeee lol

I remember "broadcasting" my status when I hit the
top 10 or something like that on the top list way back
about 2-3 months ago....its such a thrill to have a bunch
of poems up at the same time, esp. if they are
consecutive back to back...... I know the feeling!

My sweetie and I saw your numbers last night. Happy for you. Yes, I think there are readers who enjoy your work so much they took the time to put you in the spotlight.

Have you noticed how the scores have increased? There isn't a score lower than 4.

I think the participation of poets and their readers on the forum has had a positive impact across the site.

Thanks to our recent arrivals Drake, Ladylove, Perky, Camille and everyone else whose name escapes me.

The poems I've been reading by the new poets are excellent. It makes me work harder!
By the way, I was talking about you last night. I told someone that you are a very nice and warm person. I lied since it's Christmas... lol NO! I really did tell this person nice things about you. You're one of the reasons that poetry has improved on this site. At least, you've made me pay more attention to my own writing, and I thank you!

I agree....I was shocked out of my pants this morning
upon coming home from the overnight shift and checking
out the ratiings....nearly fell off my chair! I think it is
great that there has been a growing number of
poets posting up here and and even more growing
readership. I don't know what everyone thinks, but
I say its because of "The New Poems List" and "The
New #1" threads (among others) that have generated
"publicity" and an increased readership of poetry on
Literotica (for both Lit. members and nonmembers).

I'm thinking that someone's false votes have been reversed.

At least, I noticed that several of my poems jumped up in scores by quite sizeable amounts. Yet, they also show *less* votes than a few days ago. Is it possible a nefarious "1 voter" has been outed and reversed? Or perhaps there was a glitch in the code, which has been fixed?

In any case, the last few days have brought even more poetry turnover than usual. So, I guess we should all be glad for the new (and old) blood on the list.

And Congrat, Eve, on your top spots. Even if they were short lived. Trust me--they always are. Don't take it personally.

I'm glad to see that all our scores are doing better. I haven't been 1'd in a while. That was getting discouraging. I notice the poems near the top aren't moving around as much either. The top poems were changing so fast it made my head spin. A poem could be #1 in the morning and off the list later that day. I've noticed that seems to have stopped.
Maybe the 1 bomber's computer finally blew up from all the voting!

I see you have a lot of poetry on the list. I think you deserve to be there. You have some excellent poetry. And so do you tj. I would like to see more of daughter's poems on there. I love her work. Actually, all the poets need a shot at being on the top list. It's a great way to get your poems noticed long enough so someone reads them.
