Haven't had the time to get out to much this summer. Now as

Rainbows...13 to 15 inches and very well fed! It never gets cold enough here to have ice (unless you go to Eastern Oregon), so have never ice fished!

Wow, awesome eating! Ice fishing is a community affair. You can
walk over to the next shack and say hi, shoot the shit, have a beer, talk about family, etc. Next to deer hunting it's my favorite time of the year. I burn a lot of vacation time doing it.

My next door neighbor has tags this year to hunt deer, elk, and bear in certain areas. I am the beneficiary of some great steaks and sausage when he is successful!

Probably next week. Down to one stick. Made venison chili for the Packer game today. Going out next weekend to check stands and do some scouting. Time to get back in tune with the earth.

They're playing Ted Nugent's song about bowhunting on the radio almost everyday. Gotta love this time of year.

ZZ top was playing that weekend at Alpine Valley, and the boys
were out golfing at the old Playboy club, beards almost touching
the ground when they putted. LMAO.
