This one is about a young guy who returns home from the military, and then takes over his father's bar after his death. It takes place in a small town on the Washington/Canada border (fictional one of course). Needed are the very scandalous towns people, the young tempting bar maids, the occasional trucker and travelling salesman, and the long lost high school sweetheart.
Suggestions are always more then welcome, anything to spice things up.

Character: Ron Barrows
Age: 26
Owner of the "Hot Box" bar
5'10" 175 with a just out of the Marines body
High and tight haircut of light brown hair and shaved body
military tattoo on left shoulder and multiple "battle" scars

Name: Jenifer Black
Age: 25
five foot four. 109IBs
Jenifer and Ron had been dating all through out high school. They broke up when Ron announced he was going off into the military. Since then Jenifer had, had a few boyfriends but nothing serious. She went to college, and got a business degree. She was now working for her father's company. She had heard rumors of Ron's return. So she started to look for him.

"I haven't seen this place in years." Ron thought as he stepped into the run down bar. His dad had been the owner before his death 2 years ago. Ron had been a Marine stationed in Okinawa at the time. After the funeral his mother had told him the bar was his, according to the will. "Well Mom, at least I'll have something to do when I get out."
Out now, and back home in Pine Quarry, Washington, and stepping into his "new" bar. "Well a few coats of paint and a little work and she'll be good as new. Now all I need is a theme to begin." Leaving the bar, Ron drove down to Shaggy's, the restuarant that acted as the high school hangout all those years ago. "Hell, I might even see a few of the old faces while I'm there"

Jenifer was driving home from work. Every day she passed by Shaggy's. Everytime she passed by there she could not help but to think about Ron. Every once and while she would stop in for a smoothie, or a burger. And today was one of those days.

She pulled into the parking lot and got out of her car. She was wearing a pair of black slacks, and a white button up blouse, with a pair of black flats. She walked in the resturant, and sat at the counter.

Ron turned in to Shaggy's parking lot, "Nope, hasn't changed much has it?" he asked himself. As soon as he walked through the doors, and the sights, sounds, smells hit him, he knew he was home. "Mabel, how's my best girl doing?"
The old lady looked up behind the counter, "Cher, is that you? Come give me a hug you fool, I ain't seen you and ages son." Mabel had been the waitress at Shaggy's for the last 30 years, and she had seen all the kids around grow up, most to have kids of their own. "Why just look at ya boy, looks like you done grew up just fine. Sorry to hear about your father though, he was a good man. So you see anyone from the old days yet."
"No Ma'am, I just got back into town, about an hour ago and I just left the Hot Box."
"Well dear, if ya look right over there, I think there's a young lady there, that just might have missed you." Ron looked just past the register. All he saw was a part of a white shirt, and one black flat. Reaching over and giving a small kiss on the cheek,"Thanks ol' lady." he chuckled, and head down the aisle, Coming up on the booth, he realized who he was seeing. Slowly walking up to her just out of her line of sight Ron whispered, "Hello beautiful, this seat taken?"

Jenifer had been lost in her thought. Mostly about work, but every so often a memory of Ron creept into her train of thought. She was waiting for playing with straw in her soda.

She let out a sigh. She heard a familiar voice from behind her, "Hello beautiful, this seat taken?" Jenifer jumped, just by the sound, of the voice. Trying to fight back the tears. "No its not taken." She watched as her old high school love took a seat across from her. She was trying to hide the tears that were forming in her eyes at seeing the man sitting across from her.

Ron never remembered Jenifer looking as beautiful as she did at that moment. He had an old picture of her that she had given him before he left for bootcamp, but she was only a girl then. Now she was a woman, and for the first time he had regretted leaving. He knew she didn't want him to leave, but he felt it was his duty. He just sat there admiring her. His thoughts where soon interrupted as Mabel brought them some coffee. They had sat there all evening, talking about the last few years, before realizing the time. "Can I walk you to your car?" Ron asked as he helped her up from her seat.
"Yes, I would like that."
"Well this is it." Jenifer said when they reached her car. Ron reached down and took her hand in his. "I've really missed you, I'm glad that I did come back home."

Jenifer had fought back tears since the moment she saw Ron for the first time in so many years. The night proced, and eventually Ron asked if he could walk her out to her car. She agreed. Ron reached down and took her hand in his. "I've really missed you, I'm glad that I did come back home."

At that being said Jenifer broke down and started to cry. In between sobs. "I missed you so much, too." She huged him. "I'm glad your back too."

She held on to only letting go when Ron did. She wiped her tear strained face off. "Would you like to come over to my place, and have some tea or just to catch up some more?"
