I don’t know what category I fall into. Women and men and all people have urges. I have had moments where I have wanted to whistle at a guy, I’m sure I’m not the only woman…

The problem is men treating women as nothing but decoration. Male desire can be hot under the right circumstances, but when panting after us gets in the way of us doing our jobs or being allowed to have opinions—that’s offensive.

The 1970s women's lib movement also inspired a lot of women to experiment with lesbianism -- but that's a different subject.

One feminist slogan of the time was "A woman without a man is like a fish without a bicycle." Bear in mind that at the time, it was generally assumed, in our culture, that a man can be complete in himself, but a woman needs a man to complete her. That was one of those assumptions so widespread and deeply rooted that nobody even notices it until somebody objects to it.

I don’t know how much of this is political anymore lol But I love history about prostitution.
