obama question for the politicos

given the big names that are backing him, as well as the amount of aisle crossing that's going on, i would have imagined he's hawking more than just "hope" and i'd really like to see a laundry list. why does none exist and why are all of these people endorsing him? do they not have reasons to make public? because i'm not seeing anyone come forward with them.

honestly, it's one thing for psf and vs to say they like him because he gives them hope but another for it to come from maria shriver and eisenhower jr. this is not making sense to me.

As an 'alien' it's really none of my business but it looks to me like he has no platform to run on.

Talking 'change' is nice, but exactly what?

Not seeing it.

you don't see it cause you're not invested.

americans don't get it because every two to four years they're asked to read a book or two.

Not seeing it.

Kind of my problem with him at this point to.
Sure he's flashy, he gets a lot of attention, and he's good at motivating people, but at some point he's going to have to tell me exactly what he plans on doing if he wants my vote.
"Change" is a buzz-word, not a platform.

what exactly is it about obama that has him collecting an incredible assortment of endorsements, including ted k., caroline k., maria shriver, paul volker, and, even eisenhower's daughter?

is it camelot again?

serious question.

All people that have it out for the Clintons.

I can tell you right this second and Ive said it before.

Well first of all theres no way Obama will be nominated. Not after the superdelegates get to vote, but if by some wild chance he was, neither I or ten family and friends would ever. Ever vote for him.

If he is nominated thats ten more votes for John McCain.

Its an interesting dynamic.

Theres a lot of Dems that like McCain.

Im one of them.

I would have had to hold my nose to vote for another Republican, but I could vote easily for McCain, and will if Obama is nomonated.

If you want to re elect a GOP candidate.

Ga head. Vote for Obama.

Media attention is all I really meant by that.
Kind of redundant now that I read what I typed.

Media attention? It's not because of anything bad. People are looking for strength, hope, and integrity in who they wish to vote for, put their faith in, and he stands out as that man. He's not faultless, but he comes across in so many ways as a good, decent man. You can't say that about many politicians.

But what does he stand for?

Strange that people keep asking this.

All I had to do was log on to Obama's website and there was his entire platform laid out and easy to read, compete with bullet-points and everything.

I guess some folks still need things spelled out even simpler for them.

What about you man. Who are you voting for.

I'm just saying he generates a lot of attention.
Which, as a presidential candidate, would be a good thing.

But "hope", "change", etc. don't sell me on him alone.
He's going to have to get more specific before I support him.

WHAT does he want to change? HOW is he going to change it?
WHY is that change a good thing and not a bad thing?

Just questions I'd like answers to before I'm willing to support the guy. That's all.

So unless you join his effort, you're not privy to his platform?
That doesn't make a lot of sense to me.
It's like saying, "Join me. THEN I'll tell you what I'm about."

Oh please.

He's running for the highest office on the planet.

If you're humble and running for that job you have no business being in the race.

I dont want a "Humble" leader.

Before he was running, bitch.

And I'm sorry but I admire a leader's ability to be humble.

thank you.

I'm not having a debate over my opinion with you.

I get it. You have a feeling, but theres nothing substantive about it or this flash in the pan.

Be ready to vote for Senator Hillary Clinton and President Bill Clinton come November hun.

McCain is a hothead and a man prone to knee jerk reactions.
