well, this is another discussion as it pisses me off when we went into Iraq and our troops had to purchase their own body armor. I'm not a fan of cutting this budget, and I'm not a fan of war.

This is my take..All social safety networks should be eliminated, as well as all tax breaks, tax credits and tax loopholes for all individuals and all businesse. All labor laws should be eliminated. Lifetime retirement and benefits for legislators eliminated. Lobbyists and political contributions by corporations eliminated. EPA, Education and Health? Eliminate. Teachers, cops, firemen and nurses? Who needs these losers? They want a decent wage and a pension for doing jack. Infrastructure? Eliminate. Who needs it? Let the free market rule. No one deserves a free ride, handout or break. No one.

In the interest of disclosure, I have family members who are teachers, cops, firemen, nurses... all working or retired. A few members of my family, including myself, at one time temporarily benefitted from "welfare".

I think it just makes more sense that everyone create their own opportunities, individually and in business. That's really what America is all about. Who needs the government?
