Obama hasn't hit rock bottom yet

The thing that is most interesting about the opinion piece is where it was posted.

When CNN will publish something like that with their name on it, the bottom is near.

As a lame duck President, he can do nothing for the left-wing wackos in any case so finally saying out-loud what even his supporters always knew- that the emperor has no clothes- is not such a risk.

They have tried appealing to his vanity with softball questions and puffing of his minor accomplishments, and still he is petulant with the press.

Eastwood had it right.

I'll bet there's a reason for such, which is the yearly rising cost of everything in life that everyone's gotta deal with, but...when you do things like this, you really should post the actual comparison figures with a link to source, instead of anecdotally alluding to them.

Otherwise, folks would just...not...believe you or something.

Far fetched, I know!

Sure, uh, rising costs...

The Obamas have spent over 44 million dollars in taxpayer money on travel and vacations. Some are even calling him the “most well-trvaeled, expensive” president in our nation’s history.

As of March 2014, Obama has spent more time traveling internationally than any other president, taking 31 trips since assuming office in 2009. The 119 days spent overseas have cost taxpayers millions of dollars.

At the same point in their respective presidencies, George W. Bush had spent 116 days on 28 trips, Bill Clinton had spent 113 days on 27 trips and Ronald Reagan had spent 73 days on just 14 trips.

In 2010, Obama flew aboard Air Force One 172 times, nearly every other day. Just the cost of flying aboard Air Force One to Obama’s hometown of Chicago reportedly hovers around $180,000 per hour.

In addition to all of his international travel, the president spends a significant amount of time traveling with his family. The Obama family has taken vacations to exclusive beaches in New England, private clubs in Key Largo and, of course, luxurious beaches in Hawaii.

According to the government watchdog group Judicial Watch, beginning with the infamous New York “date night,” the Obamas have spent $44,351,777.12 in taxpayer cash on travel expenses.

So what? Let him take and enjoy his vacations. He needs them from the constant hateful, whiny, mouth breathers of the right. Idiots from the right whine all day without giving solutions.

The right does nothing but destroy and create wealth gaps, like they are doing now to my once progressive state. Some people are not smart enough to realize that all politics is local.

OMG!! Do you pay taxes?

Travel is travel. He's a Head of State. He has to travel domestically and internationally no matter what.

Give me vacation costs only. Then you got some meat on that broke bone. We already know how many times he goes on vacation versus the record-setting number your boy went. And it ain't even close. :D

The total failure of this administration was a long time coming; I offer a book I published in 1984 outlining just why such a situation was inevitable. I republished and expanded the work recently.

for five bucks you can read it all, or read a portion for free...

The fatal flaw in American political history began with the continuation of those who still wanted a King to rule, following the American Revolution.

It was, and remains, a philosophical polarity between those who want to be ruled, or told what to do and how to live, and those who wish the liberty to live as they choose.

A thumbnail sketch beginning with the supreme court reversal of the capitation tax, forbidden by the constitution, that allowed the so called, 'income tax', to be levied, can be considered a beginning as it enabled government to spend without control.

After the failure of the League of Nations, the market crash and depression of the late 20's and 30's, one call almost sympathize with the people who voted for socialism under FDR, beginning in 1932.

The propaganda from the Marxists claimed the failure of the free market and democracy, and the intellectual elite, then as now, jumped on the bandwagon of a communal political existence.

Electing Truman, giving the Democrats twenty consecutive years in office, effectively installed a huge central government that essentially has continued to grow and regulate to this day.

The voters in Great Britain did essentially the same thing when the rejected Churchill at the polls and turned to socialism and away from a free society.

Kennedy, Johnson, Clinton and Nobama have all followed the fundamental premise the a strong central government to administer the needs of the people is the proper path.

The content of, A Call to Action, is to state that only a revolution can renew the basic tenets of a free society.

One is either free, or not free, there is no middle ground

Look at you....defending this. Before you get off on "white privilage" tangent, I'd be pissed and have been pissed at any President taking advantage of the system in place.

But go ahead and defend you "boy"....

It's the system, nobody cried about Bush and nobody should be crying about Obama.

Oh yes they did cry about Bush and he deserved it. How many times did he fly to his ranch in Texas?

Not really,it didn't get brought up much until it became why are you so pissed at Obama. And Bush didn't deserve it anymore or less than Obama does. Who cares how many times he flew to Texas?

How many of those trips were "working" vacations?

All of them. The President is always working.

Look at you...diverting and deflecting like a broke version of Tim Howard using "white privilege" preemptively with me so you don't have to come clean with not knowing the score again.

Becky. How many times I gotta tell ya? You can't keep doing this same dance with the bowling shoes! :D

Sure you're pissed at any ol' President "taking advantage of the system in place."

But that's not what happening and that's not what I asked you. If you can't come correct, stay in your lane.
