Googling "muslim brotherhood state department" turns up the story in the OP, plus something from InfoWars, something from The Blaze, and that's about it unless you count some older stuff about Huma Abedin. Sorry, this story must be discounted until reported by some credible source.

I'm saying we have no good reason, as yet, to believe it is true in any way that matters, or is not being distorted by hard-RW media outlets.
That much at least is plausible, and predictable, and unobjectionable. If MB members are on those terms meeting with State Department officials, that's not a story, let alone a "surrender."

There is nothing to redeem; State Department officials meeting with MB representatives, who are not ipso facto terrorists, is simply an appropriate and necessary thing to do in this situation. We can't just treat Egypt as none of our business, we give it too much money every year and we want to keep it from threatening Israel (which is why we give it so much money every year), so every important faction there is worth attention and worth talking to.

Now there is an unbiased source if ever I saw one. An anti-Muslim blog site ran by a religious bigot conspiracy theorist in the employ of David Horowitz, an even bigger religious bigot idiot.

Despite numerous statements, and the fact that the President regularly attended a Christian church, for decades.. (you idiots remember the Rev. Wright flap yes?) Spenser has this to say..
"Ultimately only he knows the answer as to what he really believes. But certainly his public policies and his behavior are consistent with his being a committed and convinced Muslim."
