All this time I have been blaming Obama for the six trillion in debt. I was amazed how he escaped any accountability for it, and how there was nothing much tangible to show for it, except for free condoms, of course.

But the election taught me something. It's not his fault. He is giving the people what they want. Its political suicide these days to suggest that if people want something, they have to earn it. If a politician says they want to improve the economy and put people to work, that is what he is suggesting. Work? People don't want work, they want government freebies. Obama is NOT to blame for this.

Its the classic seduction of Socialism. Why work for something when you can get it for free? Of course, the politicians don't tell you who is really going to pay for it all. If pushed, they say, "The Rich will pay". Its all a lie. The rich have the politicians bought and paid for to make sure they are not the ones to pay.

Its the Middle Class that pays. But by the time they figure out they have been duped it's too late. And over time, the middle class shrinks as it becomes overburdened with higher and higher taxes from an ever more oppressive and inefficient government.

If you want to observe this process in action, watch Venezuela. A once promising country turning to ashes.

Its the bottom feeders who always get hurt by every political system. Every political I know of takes care of the elites, liquidates the middle-class, and starves the poor. The poor are too stupid to recognize whats going on, and the middle-classes are born to be mild (and timid).
