It's not as if Obama traded arms for hostages during a US led arms embargo.

That would be really bad.

Or if he had taken the money from the profits from weapons sales and gave them to a foreign rebel army after congress cut off funding to that army. Cuz ya know, that would really be bad.

This is Iran's money being returned to it long after it was seized.

The US has not been fulfilling its pledges under the recent nuclear agreements so Iran has (possibly) used the captured US spies as leverage.

And aid to 'Israel' is still illegal.
