I think you are very creative and doing very well overall considering the environmental challenges and all. Perhaps shooting in Raw as well as jpeg will give you better results in post processing. Have you tried that?

I don't take pictures unless there's something in the mix to make it complicated! I'd shoot in RAW when I first started but it took so long for the images to load on my old laptop that it really didn't seem worth it when only one out of hundreds were worth keeping. I may try again soon. I really don't want to do much editing other than cropping, blurring my face & converting to b&w. Much rather learn how to take a photo that doesn't need all that done to it.

This made me laugh. I can just picture the scenario:

It's highly likely that something like that would happen out here. You better hope you haven't jinxed me, I will hunt you down! I did have a couple of State Troopers block my vehicle in one time while I was in an abandoned building, they claimed they thought I was inside dumping off a body!

Think I may get the garden hose out in the backyard this week & do some practice shots so I'll be ready for the next rain... that'd be one helluva hike for some lousy pics

Thank you, EOR. Hopefully, I can figure out the issues I was having & the rest of the set will turn out better.

Umm low ISO doesn't necessarily mean low noise but I understand what you are trying to aim at. Usually an ISO around 800 with the kind of camera you have shouldn't give you toommuch grain.
What I mainly mean is, if you shoot pre-dawn or cloudy or other in low light, you might not want to go too low in the ISO only to have to brighten it later using a software.

I'm so confused now. I thought I could lighten it with my shutter speed? Thinking I might have to get my book on exposure back out!

But then, I am not very certain. Whatever you are doing seems to work great.
Yeah getting the rain and fabric... perhaps lower ISO would be the way to go.
Still what a brilliant set OAP. Absolutely love these images.

Like I said earlier I think I'm going to get the garden hose & maybe a sprinkler out this week to do a practice run, I want to be ready the next time it rains. Or I may go take the pics that I did all the practice with back & side lighting. Thank you for the compliment, I'm really hoping I finish up with these the way I wanting them to turn out.

I've heard about a 50/50 split on it. I prefer to have a little something on for various reason, main one being that I like to dress up!

I don't need a lot of interaction, what I'm looking for is a couple of people to point out areas I need to work on & tell me what keywords to google to find the information, then go over the new pics with the adjustments made. It'd be great if there's more interaction than that, I'm just giving an example of what I can get by with if time is an issue for someone. On the flip side, I don't want too much interaction, I have issues with my hands if I've been typing a lot.
