I had a bunch of issues today while taking pics & packed it up early. As you can see I didn't get very far! Going to go back next time it rains, do you have any pose suggestions? There's a house nearby & it's close to the road, both of which limit what I can do so keep that in mind. ;)

I love these foreboding, but highly sensual shots! You really capture the bleakness of the setting in stark black and white, while your "ghostly", sheer attire creates a mysterious, sensual mood. I especially like the 3rd photo, for various reasons, not least of which is how your delicious-looking breasts are outlined by the semi-transparent fabric. The pic has an artsy feel that's really fine art gallery quality -- especially with the broken iron fence in the foreground and the mist in the background. Bravo!! :D

I had a dream just like this the other night

So beautiful and atmospheric OAP, your poses and the photography are just perfect, just like a movie that I must have seen, the memory is somewhere in the back of my mind

Your fans have filled up your PM inbox again. Aren't you just the popular one today.:)

Do you do these on your own? These surely aren't phone pics. Those are awesome from just a photographic standpoint let alone the awesome content.

Brings me to mind of the song Long Black Veil even though you're in white
Funny you should say something about a veil, I had thought about wearing one but decided it was too weird with what I had on. Black lingerie under a black dress with a veil had also crossed my mind for a graveyard setting.
OAP, the third image in particular is fantastic. It's hard to fault and so so exceptionally well taken. I see you become comfortable with the handling of the setup. Are you still shooting in manual or did you change it up?
This was dawn or?
If you do get in on a rainy day, I think it would be a nice thing to get some muddy legs against the Gothic background... depending on how much texture comes through. Might be interesting to see.
Thank you, Lizzie. I was iffy about that picture & wasn't sure if I was going to share it.

I'm still using manual mode for the settings but have started using auto for focusing on most things. I need new glasses & have given up on trying to do the focusing myself. I don't care for some of the things it does on it's own but I have found ways to work around it.

The pictures were taken while it was raining about 1.5 hours before the sun went down. I attached an umbrella to the tripod & put my camera in a plastic bag. Didn't think to bring something to dry the lens & there are water spots from the lens in the first pic. Wish I had done something differently (maybe a flash? or adjust the shutter speed?) to capture some of the rain as it was coming down. NEXT time!

I *had* muddy legs, the rain washed it off! When I was crossing a ditch to get to the cemetary I sunk down in mud up to my knees, glad I didn't have shoes on! I think I fell down as well... I dunno... I trip over my own two feet so frequently I don't even notice anymore, it's become a part of my gait. :D

I hope that was a good WOOF and not a bad WOOF?. :)
Oh wow...fucking spectacular, my dear...amazing job!
I have a feeling the next set up there will be better!

I figured as much .. I was wishing on a star huh ..
I can't believe you'd want to take all that off, say it ain't so!
Great Picture .. Composition.. B / W .. Thoughts of a Night in the Cemetery ...
Thank you, Lowrider69. I liked it better in b&w myself.

oap you are simply a delight on the eyes and hard-on in my hands... truly stunning... hope the hands are doing better... i'll update you later.
They were doing better until I started blabbing too much again. Hoping a few days off with relieve that.

YES, let me know what happened... getting ready to clear some room in my inbox for you.
These are so fucking hot! I already PM'd my suggestion. The middle one does naughty things to me.
Definitely going to do what you suggested next time!

These are very well done! Nice composition.
Thank you! ( and quoted before you have a chance to delete :D)

ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC PICS, WHATEVER YOU DECIDE WILL BE GREAT! THANK YOU.
I went back yesterday but I forgot to pack my nightie like an idiot! I was going to try to work around that then realized I had also forgotten both tripods. .
Remove your clothes or the rain will ruin them whilst keeping your eyes open for activity around the house and any approaching traffic!
That house is too close for comfort & past experiences have shown that I'm too doofy to put on clothes quickly if I hear someone approaching. I'd have to lay on the ground & hope they didn't see me!

Yowzers! I like where this was going...very erotic and sexy...Be still my!
Thank you, Hoss1026. I wish I had had a plan on where it was going, I probably would have stayed & finished. I was winging it like I usually do but lost focus when too many things happened.

lmao...even the dildo exaggerates its size!! i told you how i make mine to be 12" long right? i fold it in half! lol.
ok..that game was lame...got it.
ok..i was sitting in stall three when something came up and i had a realization...that last idea was super lame...so i'm calling in the internet for help....i found a quiz to see how good in bed you are....we both take the quiz and whoever is better in bed accordig to the quiz..wins...hows that sound? i can mail you the link if you want to play..dont know if i can post and external link on here??
Yes, it was lame, I can't believe you had to put thought into it!
I've received your link... it's on like Donkey Kong, I'm going to mop the floor with your ass!
Great Gothic series. Well done.
Thank you, Twisted. It wasn't intended to be any type of set, I just thought it'd be a cool place to take pics as I drove by one day.
Thank you, Dri. Always nice to see you pop in!
Wonderful camera work, made exceptional by your elegance.
Thank you, ohverbatum. Elegance? :D

Great pics gorgeous.
Thank you, horny!
WHERE IS SHE?
I had to run errands & get some much needed sleep.

I had a dream just like this the other night

I'd like to hear about that dream (even if you have to make one up!) I'm still in need of suggestions for when I go back.

It's a great place to take photos. A few weeks ago I took some of someone else & we were both really pleased with them, which is saying a lot because rarely am I pleased with what I've shot.

Your fans have filled up your PM inbox again. Aren't you just the popular one today.
I always forget to dump the 'sent' box!

I love that spot & am so happy that I took that set of pics even though I didn't finish. There's been too many times that I saw something I wanted to photograph & when I've gone back it's either gone or they've 'fixed' it. I was iffy about that third photo but tried to work around what I didn't like by cropping it a bit. There was no 'semi' to the transparency of that fabric! I was shocked when I looked down at myself while taking pics and could see individual hairs! Wish I had taken photos showing that.

SHE IS A STAR HERE.
That FENCE is the star here!

Do you do these on your own? These surely aren't phone pics. Those are awesome from just a photographic standpoint let alone the awesome content.
Yes, I use the timer on my camera & a tripod. I've seen some really nice pics done with phones but I don't have the time or desire to try to figure out how to use yet another device, I can barely do much more than turning my camera on.

I thought the fabric was more see-through in color. Wondering what I can change to make it more so in black and white?

Why not .. A Sexy Lady in that Outfit .. I want the Goods ;)

Thank you, Lowrider69. I liked it better in b&w myself.

You do a great Job .. and all done with a Timer and Just You ..

Keep up on the practice, You'll get there ... :rose:

Wow. The effect is less ghostly in color...but more erotic. ;)
IKR? I thought the difference was huge. I prefer the black & white but I always lean that way.

I'm wondering if I lowered my ISO to 100 if I'll get what I'm wanting? Think I had it at 400.

One day... I need to stop being in such a rush though.

...and 'the goods' are easy to access even with those things on ;)

I do too. It adds to the overall tone. Um, what's IKR?

Goodness, OAP. The gravestone pics are extraordinary. The settting, the textures. Stunning!∞∞∞

Stunning and gorgeous. Amazing setting, too . . . and the idea to do it in the rain was brilliant.

When you converted to black and white, did you try boosting the contrast?

Depends on what you are wanting. If you reduce the ISO to 100 and brighten it post process, both your read noise and your shot noise will be amplified and you end up with a grainier image.
Or did you want a darker, gloomier vibe? I felt that this was pretty spot on.

Thank you, Mara. Isn't the fencing fantastic? I'd love to bring it home for part of my garden!

I didn't attempt to adjust anything, I just clicked through the b&w presets & clicked 'save' when I found what seemed okay. 'KISS' always works best for me! I do think I'm going to try making that adjustment in Lightroom if I can figure out how, thank you for the suggesting it.

I thought it was the opposite? Lower number for a sharper image, higher number for grain? That's what I've doing anyway... I did skim through a book on exposure a while back & it gave a standard way to have everything set for their pictured image, then they said something like " a creative option would be to...." Guess which way I've been doing it? I just can't grasp how the settings all work together for some reason. I think it's starting to click though because I knew exactly what to adjust the other day when normally I would have been stumped. Not saying it was right but it worked.

I was content with the settings for pictures I posted but would like to have been able to adjust things for other pics 1) to show the rain 2) to show how transparent the fabric was.

thank you, rulickable :)

Umm low ISO doesn't necessarily mean low noise but I understand what you are trying to aim at. Usually an ISO around 800 with the kind of camera you have shouldn't give you toommuch grain.
What I mainly mean is, if you shoot pre-dawn or cloudy or other in low light, you might not want to go too low in the ISO only to have to brighten it later using a software.
But then, I am not very certain. Whatever you are doing seems to work great.
Yeah getting the rain and fabric... perhaps lower ISO would be the way to go.
Still what a brilliant set OAP. Absolutely love these images.

Thank you, Dri. Always nice to see you pop in!

I think you are very creative and doing very well overall considering the environmental challenges and all. Perhaps shooting in Raw as well as jpeg will give you better results in post processing. Have you tried that?

I'd have to lay on the ground & hope they didn't see me!

This made me laugh. I can just picture the scenario:

911, What is your emergency?

Oh, my goodness, there is a dead body in the cemetery!

Ma'am, that is kind of the point of a cemetery. Is this a prank call?

No, you don't understand . . . There is a half naked female body lying face down in the cemetery next door!

Oh, well in that case, we will send someone . . .

Wait, it's moving! The body is moving! Aaaaugh! It's happening! The zombie apocalypse!

Ma'am, how much have you had to drink this evening?

:D
