This year is the 25th anniversary of his murder trial, and of course, his acquittal. For those of us old enough to have lived through it, arguably the most infamous trial in American history, what are your memories, your thoughts? How has the legacy of what transpired affected society, even today?

I was at a county commission meeting when the verdict came down. Moments before, the commission had passed some proclamation related to domestic violence. I still remember that, the irony of the moment.

I have little memories of that. I was assigned overseas, working on terrorism. We had more immediate concerns.

You previously claimed to be working in Russia during that time period.

Arguably.

Harry Thaw
Leopold and Loeb
Sacco and Vanzetti
Scopes Monkey Trial
Lindbergh kidnapping trial
The Rosenbergs
The Manson Family
The Menendez Brothers

But, yeah, the OJ trial was something -- a fucking clown show from start to finish.

He was pretty funny in the Naked Gun movies. Capricorn One wasn't the worst thing I've ever seen either. Dude could play some football, too.
Terrible murderer tho. Sometimes bitches gotta go but show some restraint and for fucks sake, get rid of the body and do some clean up. I mean yeah you're not gonna get all the blood and evidence, they always find it but don't make it easy for them and sure as shit don't let it lead directly back to you.
Plus we all know that if you really must kill someone it's always best to make it a random person. Don't worry about who, they all got it coming.
