O-H-I-O! Who is from OHIO?

Three things:

Baker is the best QB we've had since Bernie.

I'm glad people aren't still judging me for dumb things I did when I was college age

Looking good there Kitty :cattail:

I'm just glad I have nothing to talk about this week as a Bengal fan.

I had to turn off the Brown's game....too painful.

I've gotta watch the game from Nashville this year... no worries they will hear me all the way in that state up north. ;)

I am about 2 hrs from there on Lake Cumberland and can guarantee it will be more fun here...you should be here...nods head

Congrats to the Bengals for the AFC North title!

I still have PTSD from years of losing in the early stages. It doesn't help to see the 49ers still in the hunt for the NFC playoffs. ;)

Who Dey!

There's a possibility I'll be traveling to Ohio. I have a friend not doing well. She's in the Newark area. Weather bad? Restrictions bad? Anything I should know?

We're getting high winds Today, though not as bad as further south.

We're expecting snow Thursday - Newark should be around 4-5 inches. (https://swcforecastcenter.com/❄-win...PGbYgINfKGj4pdIk-HwBI19KphzM49wlF4v5iO2HuLttM)

Though depending on the route the snow takes, it could be as low as 2 inches and high as 8. I'd expect lower.

Over the weekend should return to warmer temps, so snow melt....rain sunday.

I got excited at the possibility of snow but it looks like it's going to miss my area. I could seriously do without this wind. I hoped to go for a hike today but the area I go to is open and I will probably blow over!

Yah, walking the dog this morning was a bit nippy with that extra breeze. I expect it will get worse through the day.

Good morning, I work often in the Newark area, the closest airport is In Columbus, Newark is about an hour East. Columbus has masking requirements, but as of Monday Newark was only suggesting them in stores and the like. Newark is attached to Heath which has a small mall, Like everywhere there is a Walmart. If you get a chance to explore Granville is a little west of Newark a quaint small college town. It has a couple of hotels you can reserve supposedly haunted rooms in..if you enjoy birds and nature there is Buckeye lake just south of Heath on 79. Dillion state park and wildlife area is just to the South East. If shopping is your interest Easton Mall is about an hour away in Columbus and an easy drive from Newark. I hope this helps, well wishes to your ailing friend.

I will add weather wise we are due for 1-3 inches of now Thursday into Friday morning. Other then that typical Ohio winter weather temps range from 15-43.
Thank you. Yes. I've been there a half dozen times. I always flew into Columbus. I haven't been in years though, so I am unware of Ohios mandates right now. I'm Vaxxed and wear a mask, but at this time, I am waiting to hear from my friends family. as of right now. I can't even go in to visit her, so it would not be worth the flight. So I just wanted to be prepared in case it is a quick thing.
Thank you..

Thank you for this. I've never been back to Ohio in Wintertime, so I figured I should ask. :)

There is no statewide mandate for masks or vax. Many places are requiring them on premise, so good to keep one handy where-ever you go. I'm going to the hockey game Saturday and they do require masks unless you're eating/drinking.
