O, Canada!

I've spent a few days in Quebec City a couple of years ago and had a great time. It's a beautiful place and old town is absolutely amazing. I'd been a little worried because my French is just a tad bit better than my Mandarin and I'd always heard how touchy the French C's were about their language, but I didn't find that true at all. Most of the people immediately switched to English when they realized I was totally clueless and those that obviously couldn't were more than willing to go find a translator to take over. I'd go back in a heartbeat.
