O Canada!
Our home and native land!
True patriot love in all thy sons command.
With glowing hearts we see thee rise,
The True North strong and free!
From far and wide,
O Canada, we stand on guard for thee.
God keep our land glorious and free!
O Canada, we stand on guard for thee
O Canada, we stand on guard for thee

Or maybe it should be offspring, yeah that wouldn't be sexist.

Of your PC choices, only "kids" fits the meter of the music, and there are many who would wonder why only "young Canadian goats" were patriots.
On a serious note, this is a prime example of special interests groups taking their particualr brand of fanaticism to extremes. "Oh Canada" is a beautiful and stirring song that is one of the top ten national anthems in the world -- as far as esthetics are concerned. Tampering with the lyrics would be an atrocity agsinst good taste!

And isn't it funny that the one Canadian who would be cutting-and-pasting his little fanny off if this happened in the U.S. has nothing to say when it happens in his own country?

But, haven't we been told repeatedly that Canada is the 51st state?
