And while I do means nuts of all kinds (a swift "hey there" to everyone's marbles)....I am actually referring to peanuts.

I'm relatively certain I won't be throwing up for the next 24 hours so tonight as I post I am eating peanuts and I am coming to realise that they are evil deamon seeds that you just can't stop eating. Cashews as well.

And on that note- if you ever know in advance if you will be throwing up...don't eat peanuts. It's not pretty.

I'ma big fan of pistachios myself..i love shelling'em and the sweet taste is yumsome :)

Roasted (or are they toasted?) Almonds. Lightly salted. Yum.

P.S. The same vomit warning would hold true with almonds. Nasty things on the rewind.

Actually peanuts aren't seeds, they're roots.

But what you have remember is that, whether you've eaten them or not, the puke will always contain diced carrots and tomato skins.

I guess... sometimes you feel like a nut... sometimes you don't... *shrugs*

Nuns can become addictive too.

Ah ha ha, I love to make myself laugh.

Nice try WOK. The peanut (despite the name) is NOT a nut. A peanut is the seed of a plant (Arachis hypogaea, a member of the pea family Fabaceae). A peanut is actually a fruit. The peanut is unusual for a fruit in that it develops underground.

Damnit! The canister says... "Mixed Nuts"!

Not "mixed nuts and fruit"!

Is this all part of the greater conspiracy by the American media and corporate conglomerations to suck all the intellect from my brain?

If it's fruit the damned can should say so!

I'm very angry and feel the need to write Planters a very nasty e-mail right now. Damned liars.

Wow, that makes Mr. Peanut a fruit. Don't be too hard on him, Wok, he may not be ready to come out. P.

I thought the peanut was a dicotyledon, like a bean. I've grown peanuts, accidentally. When I was twelve, I kept hamsters. One day I set them free for a couple of hours in my garden, with some hamster food for them to forage. That summer, my parents had a small crop of peanut plants, sunflowers, and dope.
