“No, I don't think it's a witch hunt,” Sam Nunberg told ABC News. “It's warranted because there's a lot there and that's the sad truth.”
Yes, the same Sam Nunberg who only last week was adamant he wouldn't answer the subpoena from Mueller who is investigating the con artist's collusion with Russia during the campaign, sang like a canary when he testified for over five hours before the grand jury.
Nunberg said he believes that many in his inner circle may face legal trouble, including his own mentor and former Trump campaign aide, Roger Stone.
“I'm very worried about him,” Nunberg said. “He's certainly at least the subject of this investigation, in the very least he's a subject.”
He said there were also questions about Trump’s business and his political positions on Russia.
As yet, he does not believe the investigation will reach the con artist. Not yet at least. Though this may be the reason the con artist is looking into an attorney who has experience in impeachments.
