Nude teen slumber party

I read that a recent Ann Landers column had a question about 'nude teenage slumber parties' and how common they were as a womans daughter was invited to one.. The idea was that it was watched over by an adult woman, no males were allowed and everyone invited was to sleep/stay over while completely naked.

I was interested in the subject (naturally) and looked for stories on it and found none. I've done a little writing myself and decided I would write a story about it myself but haven't gotten around to it. If anyone has any interest in writing a story about a female 'nude teen slumber party' I would be very interested!

Wonder what the late Ann Landers had to say about it. I'm guessing she was totally on board, endorsed the idea 100%, thought teens all across the country should try it.

From what I understand, Ann Landers saw nothing wrong with them as long as they were supervised by an adult and there weren't any men around.. There probably wouldn't be any 'funny stuff' going on at one of these things.. But there most definitely will be in my version..

Leg shaving and pillow fights.. Got it. I already had plans on doing the bikini trim/shave thing.. Actually I was also thinking of having the girls pounce on the mother who is supervising the party and shaving her. And there could also be a naughty girl who sneaks in her boyfriend for some fun.. It really is a good idea with alot of potential.

Unsettling Visual

Somehow the visual of Ann Landers chaperoning a nude slumber party is too much for me, I've had the (mis)fortune of meeting her in person while I was a journalism student at university. I saw enough wrinkles then and would prefer not to put her running au natural sputters my fuse a bit prematurely.....

Apart from the Ann Landers part of this thread, the story idea has interesting possibilities. There is a bi-woman friend of mine, mother of two girls, in her mid-20's. She loves to get together with a couple of women friends and a whole lot of toys for pajama parties. The pajama parties are pretty much mutual masturbation sessions. She is also not reticent about including the older of her daughters (who is well under 18) as she believes it to be essential to the development of healthy women that mothers and female relatives teach their daughters how to masturbate at an early age.

The adult mutual masturbation party has some possibilities. No doubt, it would have to be done sans the Britney fans.

If someone is looking for a fanfiction idea, the women of "Sex in the City" wouldn't be a bad choice. Have them actually take off their lingerie and get with some heavy breathing.

For the record, the 'Nude teen slumber party' Ann Landers column is not an urban legend. I saw it myself. IIRC, the headline read "Mother baffled by nude teen slumber party."

Relax, parents. Nude slumber parties full of 15-year-old girls are not "all the rage these days," as seen in the Ann Landers column of May 16 that appeared in the Star Tribune and other newspapers.

Nor were they when the letter first appeared in print in 1995.

Landers is the latest of several prominent advisers to receive -- and answer -- the letter from a "Baffled Mom in Burlingame," troubled that her daughter wanted to attend one of the parties.

Dear Abby received a very similar letter three weeks ago and didn't bite.

"I think it's a hoot. I dismissed it as a young boy's prepubescent fantasy," said Jeanne Phillips, who writes under the pseudonym Abigail Van Buren for the column founded by her mother, Pauline Phillips. "If this is a trend, I certainly haven't seen an avalanche of mail about it."

A nearly identical letter, signed "P.M., Burlingame, Calif.," appeared in the Ebony Advisor column of Ebony magazine in September 1995. ("Oh, I don't think we'd want to make any comment on that," a spokeswoman for Ebony said with a laugh.)

Phillips' mother, the original Dear Abby, received and published the letter from "Perplexed Mom in California" in April 1996. Her answer: "Tell her that you were not raised in an atmosphere that condoned casual nudity and you are uncomfortable with the idea of her attending nude slumber parties. Period."

Child psychologist T. Berry Brazelton published it (name and address withheld) in his May 1996 newspaper column, answering, "The nudity sounds pretty stimulating; I don't know why the other mother would encourage that. Maybe all you mothers should get together to discuss it."

While nude slumber parties were not and never have been a trend, "Nude Slumber Party" is the name of an adult videotape that promises to show what happens when "the clothes come off and the intimacies begin."

"What would really happen," Jeanne Phillips said from her Los Angeles office, "is once the girls stopped giggling they'd get cold and want to put something on."

The whole thing sounds suspiciously like an urban legend, said Cylin Busby, author of the upcoming book, "Pajama Party Uncovered."

Busby recalled rumors of nude all-girl slumber parties as early as 1993.

Busby also was senior editor of the former Teen magazine. "Of all the letters we got . . . I never saw one from any girl that had been invited to a nude slumber party and was wondering how to respond," she said."
