I did have to build a bit of a fort to keep the prying eyes of the neighbors away.

Why not? Could you put chairs up around you with towels or sheets surrounding you so no one would see except the birds and an occasional airplane?

Well I have kids. I live in a subdivision and there is just no place to do it. Also my dog would probably come and put her nose in my crotch. LOLOLOLOL I do go to the tanning salon though.

I also live in a subdivision and have kids. No dog, though. We have some bushes/trees surrounding our deck, and my husband lays our deck chairs sideways so the backs of the chairs block more. I then lay on the deck floor. He keeps the kids busy while I sunbathe, occasionally sneeking a peek through the window or coming outside to snap a picture. Other times, he will keep watch to make sure the neighbors (or their kids) don't walk by, as they tend to use our backyard as a sidewalk to other houses.
