Yep. Not only the obvious with Reid eroding it, Schumer insisting that Trump cannot replace SCALIA with a well-liked, congenial, even-handed conservative made it clear that no nominee would be acceptable.

There is no way in hell that Collins, Flake, Manchin, or Murkowski would be voting to do away with the filibuster rule to get Kavanaugh through.

After jamming through Obamacare in paying a huge price for that the Democrats did not learn that politics is the art of the possible. The obstructionism for the sake of just obstructionism is stupid.. this after suggesting that is true of Republicans who basically rolled over and let Obama have 8 years of the budget that the Democrats passed in the first two years. The Republicans were hardly obstructionist. They were pussies. Still
