Absolutely! And not only were they a big influence on Bowie and Iggy, and punk, generally, they also sort of accidentally made the best Grateful Dead song ever . . . imho.

Social Distortion with Bad Religion last week. Fucking awesome show. Both sets were amazing but Social D is one of my favorite bands ever. I sang along with ever song. Really great to see Mike Ness back and killing it too. They didn't play 'Story of My Life', one of my favorite songs, but they did play a stack of new ones that were really great. Hopefully we get a new album in the near future.
