NOW It's Official

Congratulations, Mr. President! Now please, don't lose your backbone again over making the rich pay their fair share or keeping up the fight for health care. And for the love of God, let's take the fight to the NRA over reasonable gun control already!

How about he quit trampling the rights that are laid out in the Constitution while he's at it?

You go, Barrack. Here's for you personally tracking down every single constitutional right Topace thinks you're trampling of his and give it an extra stomp for me. 'Cause we all know that's all you do with your day and that you just live to keep Topace from being all he can be. :D

It's not just me. The courts have agreed with my point of view several times so far.

Well, then, every U.S. president who every lived has trampled on your consitutional rights--and probably a good thing, as you sound like you'd like to do a whole lot of things that would harm others (and probably don't understand what your constitutional rights are to begin with)--which is why your wants aren't all being fulfilled. Guess you'll have to hate all presidents then, and not just the Democratic or black ones.

I know what my rights are under the US Constitution, and I'm glad I don't live there.

Amendment One: Free speech within limits.
Amendment Two: Right to bear arms.
Amendment Three: No state-funded religion.

Shall I continue?

Yes, do, please. I love the smell of frustrated hate in the morning--especially by reactionaries.

Go write some bad poetry. I think politics is a little bit outside of your understanding.

First of all, the Third Amendment prohibits quartering of soldiers in private homes. What you list there is actually part of the First Amendment.

Secondly, please explain how President Obama has curtailed any of the rights you list there.

You are confusing him with Bush the lesser.

ETA: Never mind, you don't live in the USA.

As others have pointed out, you obviously don't know what the rights are under the Constitution. That aside, I'll also ask just what you think Obama has done that has stepped on any of these freedoms?

Ah, I see, he's Canadian. No wonder he doesn't seem to know what he's talking about. It doesn't have anything to do with him.

Since he lives in Alberta, it occurs to me that he could be an American working for an oil company there. Which would also explain his politics.

I think that living on a farm in northwestern Texas would better explain his politics. :D

I'm 100% Canadian and I don't work for the oil fields. I work in a grocery store.

Lame brains... no wonder the USA is going to $***!

Weren't you just complaining in another thread about leaving the forum b/c of things like people calling each other names? And just how are we supposed to know you're Canadian? You can put anything you want in the descriptions.

You put yourself out there by misstating some of our rights, and then it sounds like you're glad you don't have them? Obviously the right to bear arms is controversial, but what's so bad about no state-funded religion? Or freedom of speech?

Transcript of Bill of Rights from the National Archives.

Well we do know from his own posts that he claims to be Canadian and yet is complaining about the protections he isn't getting from the use of the U.S. Constitution. I think we could make some conclusions about Topace from that. :D
