Just to clear this up (before I remove this thread), Literotica is not owned by *******. They are both just us. That is, I do internet and consulting work for a number of companies and ******* is one of the company names I use. Laurel also does design and other work under a couple of business names - all legal, all government approved.

The name ******* is not a secret, but it is not something we flaunt or post here either. Ask anyone who has won a prize from Lit or gotten postal mail from us. We certainly aren't going to use the name "Literotica" when we send prize money to story winners! It's called being discreet, look into it!

Because I do entertainment consulting and other unrelated stuff under the name, I will remove any thread that mentions it. Sorry! Falls under the "personal info" rule. I'm sure most of you would not want your real world business names posted here either!

As far as why your other post was edited, I have no idea.

I just wanted to make clear the reason why the ******* reference was removed. I have spent many years building relationships with people who may not understand what I do in my free time. Some people aren't as open minded as the people on this forum. Again, this is not a big secret, but it is something that I attempt to keep low profile. Posting it all over the board is not low profile.

It's nothing personal against you, just protecting my ability to make a living!

Please listen to me, if you will. Laurel and Manu have never hidden the fact that Lit isn't their whole life. They have jobs! Real jobs! Just like the rest of us. Revealing any information about a persons real life business/corporation home address WHATEVER is personal.

Say I was dumb enough to tell you the company I work for and you released that info on the net? Some jerk contacts my place of work informing them of what I do in my personal time?
It is no one else's business. Personal information does not get given out on the net for a reason.
