This may sound like such a silly question but I'm asking it anyway. And I'm asking it in here because I won't feel as dumb asking it to you all!

The "Novels and Novellas" section...does each section have to be 7500 words or does the whole thing? Because I can easily write something for it if each section doesn't have to be that long!

What do you mean by "each section" hon? As far as I know, many authors that post there don't rely on the "chapters" thing. I'm not even sure if that category has a minimum word count or not. (I know the Survivor contest does if you wish to write for the N&N category.)

I'm looking at it for the contest...which from the looks of it has to be 7500 words per submission. That's going to be really, really hard. But I will do it!!

Yes, for the contest each submission would have to be that long. But, you are offered more points than the other categories. (Until you hit your 11th submission, that is.)

Oh I'm the same way, trust me. I don't think I have a chance in hell of winning or coming close to winning but at least it's gotten me writing. Which is something I haven't done in a long time thanks to me getting self-conscious awhile back.
