Spring Break Husband?

Now the Petunia Train is drafted, I'm looked towards another homage. This one would be inspired by my other favourite story, Spring Break Wife by MajorRewrite. It is odd that this story turns me on because generally I'm not into mom/son.
So I'm thinking the homage is the dad/daughter version, right in my wheelhouse.
Does this make sense or do I try too extend myself and write the mom/son version of my homage? I have done stories where Mom is involved with son as part of the tale, but don't think I've ever done one focused on Mom. My closest might be I Still Desire Mom but it is a mom/son/sister (daughter) triangle, and a sequel to I Still Desire You, the bro/sis version (which is also something I don't usually write except as part of family romps).
So what do you think?

I like the idea. Maybe daughter breaks her leg just before spring break. She's depressed that she's going to miss out when her friends head to Fort Lauderdale for six days of all sorts of shenanigans their parents are better off not knowing about. But since dad works from home he decides to set up a little stay-cation for his daughter, gets her boyfriend involved and they have a nice first day. But the next is horrible as bf/gf get in a fight, and break up right there on the patio. Dad comforts her. The inevitable happens, especially because he has to help her bathe because of the cast.

Just as things get hot and heavy, her friends come back early from Lauderdale (they drove) because they she's sort of the center of their social group and they missed her. This disrupts the new lovers and maked things even more weird when one of them starts putting moves on dad.

nice idea, but I'm looking for something more similar to the Spring Break Wife story, different enough to be a homage. Once my pulling the train story is up you might get a better feel for the objective, but I'm anxious for personal reasons to get writing and if I can't capture this idea, I will try to find another.
