The real unemployment rate (the one that includes discouraged job seekers that have dropped out of the 'official' government unemployment figures), is closer to 15%. As the government is reduced in it's anti-business zealotry, these people may once again find jobs, and join in the consumer spending that drives the economy. Currently, the real numbers in the workforce has contracted to the smallest number of workers in decades. It will take a real belief that the government albatross we have been saddled with is finally lifted.
