Notifications filter request

Currently, I receive too many favourite notifications which drown out comment and other notifications to keep track of them without scrolling through a long list.
I'd be grateful if there were more options to filter the activity list to make it easier to reply to readers.

Also, it would be nice to reply to reader's comments directly and have them notified about it.
