Hi. I'm Kelli Wolfe and I'm an erotica author. Recently a publisher started posting stories on Amazon under my name in an obvious attempt to ride on my coattails. After doing some digging, I discovered that all of the stories uploaded by this publisher were plagiarized from Literotica and a few of the other free story sites. I wanted to make the writers here aware of this and give you a chance to contact Amazon and the other distributors where this person has been passing off your work as his own.

The publisher is listed as "ABC Pulish"
The writers under that publisher are Brandy Louise, Alice Benadict, Kelli Wolfe, and Abby Summers.

The guy has pushed out 45 titles under those names in the last 3 weeks. I have verified that every single one of them is plagiarized. In spot-checking the also boughts for those titles on Amazon, I have found a number of other authors whose stories appear to be Literotica rip-offs as well. I have not had time to fully investigate those yet and it's possible that some of them are Literotica authors who have legitimately published their own stories. But it does seem like there is a *lot* of this nonsense going on.

If you need any further information from me I'll check back here, or you can email me directly at kelli-wolfe [at] pinkpartspress.com.

Edit: Add "Louise Lovette" to the plagiarist list. All of the stories under that pen name are culled from Literotica as well.

Send a PM to Laurel.

You can find her on the sticky thread "Welcome Authors. Please Read".

Post links to some of the stories you feel are plagiarised from Literotica.

The Meaning of It All by Abby Summers is copied from The Meaning of Lizzie by secretme.

Home from College by Brandy Louise is copied from The Neighbor Girl Grew Up by bman34.

The Zombie Brothel by Alice Benadict was copied from Zombie Cha-Cha by Meanderingpoet.

The Virgin Babysitter by "Kelli Wolfe" is copied from The Babysitter's Prize by slyc_willie.

The Cheating Wife by Louise Lovette is copied from The Coctail Cabinet Eye Opener by Winterfrog.

That's one example each from those pen names, but practically every single one of their stories is lifted from Literotica, with the rest pulled from the other free sites. Between those five pen names there are over 200 Literotica author stories sitting on Amazon right now. A lot of them are also up on B&N, Kobo, and Smashwords as well.

I knew this crap was going on at Amazon but didn't how how much was lifted. Thanks for the info.

Laurel won't do anything if you alert her. This site has been raided by the plagiarists for a long time.

You might be very surprised at Laurel's reaction. She has gone after site after site over the years and won most of them. The only ones she's had a problem with are sites in China but I think she now sends an e-mail along to the Chinese government in those cases.

I have notified Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and Kobo about the offenders I listed above, but I have the feeling that these guys are just the tip of the iceberg.

It's best to catch them quickly since the distributors won't pay out for this. If they're shut down before they ever get a check they're less likely to spend the effort to try again.

Umm, is that a coincidence or are you outing yourself? Kelli Wolf stealing the slic wylie story?

In addition to going to Laurel contact Amazon as well. They are very paranoid about copyright.

On that note I'll mention that they really do not pursue anything. For instance a couple of things I have posted on Amazon I have here. The difference is here is "real incest" and on Amazon is has been modified to be "step mother"

A couple of them when I uploaded Amazon e-mailed me saying it was "widely available on the net and I needed to explain why."

I told them and they simply said to go ahead and upload it they asked for no proof other than my word. So stealing stories is pretty easy.

But if you send them the links as you posted here I think they will go after the person and block their account.

The OP says that the name, Kelli Wolf, also was stolen--presumably the way this was discovered to begin with.

I know, I forgot to put the little winky thing. I think the meds the doctor gave me are fogging my brain.

I imagine if someone really put a lot of effort into this they could turn up who knows how many stolen books.

At least these were clever enough to change the name, in the past some have literally used the same title.

The good thing is amazon has made it pretty hard to just keep opening new accounts so once blocked it may be enough to stop them for good.
