Sketches Of Spain

To those of you that know jazz, undoubtable, you were thinking of Miles Davis and Gil Evans collaboration

Tonight, at the '14 Detroit Jazz Festival, Nicholas Payton closed out the show w/ his rendition of Sketches of Spain. Outstanding is an understatement.

Accompanied w/ sixteen members of the Detroit Symphonic Orchestra band that included a harp, oboe, bassoon, flute, french horn, tuba, and percussionist (kettle and snare drums) had a savvy Detroit audience on its feet.
