I realized today that I've turned myself into a plaything. It's a familiar role, if not a healthy one. But this time feels different perhaps because I'm realizing that I don't want to be just a plaything anymore. I'm so much more than genitals and mammary glands.

Maybe it's time for me to drop this role and pick up one wherein I am a valued equal in a partnership of like minds. I want someone to not only have time for me, but make time for me.

Time to explore something new, or simply explore on a whole new level. Time to hold out for reciprocation.
