Not your usual Jock (closed for Blodeuwedd_24)

Megan's eyes jumped to his at his remark and she grinned. The more time she spent with him the more comfortable she became. Of course it didn't stop the small flutter in her stomach when she looked at him. And he thought she was classy! Megan giggled.

"Classy? Nice someone thinks so! You're a charmer aren't you? And who knows, Italian food is one of my weaknesses... That... And this of course." Lifting the coffee cup with a smile. "What's your weakness? Or don't athletes like you have any?"

At his question , Megan smiled wistfully. " I am, and to quote a friend of mine- I'm Cardiff born and Cardiff bred and when I die, I'll be Cardiff dead I've been here 4 years now.." Her eyes widened, "so you're half Irish? That makes us fellow celts. I'll forgive you for being American I guess..." Megan grinned playfully at him.

Megan sipped her drink and glanced at him over the rim of her cup, smiling wider as she noticed him staring. There was no need to call him out on it as she'd been doing the same thing earlier.

"So, what Italian are we gonna' go to?"

"I have two weakness. Girls with self respect, which is very rare these day. And chocolate", smiling at his last answer.

"My favourite in this town happens to be Italian, Belle Mamas. Do you know it?"

He would be surprised if she didn't. It may be his favourite place to eat off campus, but he couldn't seem to go there without getting hounded by either sluts or the press. He hoped by bringing Megan, it might solve half that problem.

"I hate to cut this short, but I must head to my next class. I'll pick you up at 7. Here's my number", writing it down on a napkin. "Text me your address.

I'll see you later Megan", he said with a smile, before disappearing out the door to his Anatomy class.

Megan's eyebrows raised , this guy was full of surprises! She'd expected something along the lines of a nice pair of tits and a good smile. It was fair to say her idea of him being the typical laddish jock was being shred apart.

"Well I have plenty of self respect and eat a lot of chocolate."

Belle mamas was her favourite too. This guy was ticking every box she had. Megan nodded with a pleased grin.

"Know it? I'm surprised they don't charge me for rent , I might as well live there!"

Megan watched him write the number down, not quite believing she was gonna' have the most popular guy on campus's address! She took it, a small grin playing on her face as she slipped it into her bag.

" it's ok, I don't have lessons for the rest of the day , I'll see you later."

She watched him leave, running a hand through her hair. Tonight was going to be her first ever date, but at least she had hours to plan an outfit and get herself ready. Meg took one final mouthful of the comforting coffee and got her stuff together... It was time to try and make herself look half decent.

FReya , Megan's roommate had come home (for once) to find Megan sitting on her bed in a towel, her head in her hands-groaning. Megan had explained the situation and Freya had practically hit the roof with excitement. When Megan had explained she didn't know what to wear, Freya had practically thrust a green bodycon midi dress at her and insisted that she wear it.

Megan had to admit , when she looked in the mirror - even she had to admit she looked good. The dress clued to her slim body and showcased her great chest and pert butt. A pair of black heels finished it off and she left her long mass of curls to tumble down her back. Her make up was minimal, just enough mascara to highlight her eyes and clear lip gloss. Megan glanced at the clock, groaning as she saw there was only 10 minutes before he arrived and she was already nervous.

Aidan didn't have much time to think about Megan until their date. Classes took up the rest of his morning, and after a quick lunch, it was down to the track for a speed session. Luckily, his coach had banned all media from the complex after yesterday's disaster. He took to the track with his team-mates. The national championships were only a 2 months away, so they were all working hard to improve their times. The team boasted some of the top athletes in the country, including the reigning 400m champion. Aidan hoped to add his to the list of champions the school had produced over the years.

Two hours later, he left the track satisfied with the session. He had run his best training times of the year. His coach had done a very good job making sure he peaked at the right time. He headed back to the dorm, grabbing a quick shower before sitting down to an hour of study. He looked up at the clock, realising he needed to get ready for his date with Megan. He got dressed in his favourite shirt and jeans combo. A simple pair of loafers finished the outfit. He lightly styled his hair, and used a spray of his Hugo Boss colognes. Checking himself in the mirror, he then turned to leave.

On his way out, he checked his phone to see Megan had texted him her address. He was there with 2 minutes to spare, and knocked on the door. When it opened, all he could say was,

"Wow".

Megan had been so busy getting ready and worrying she'd almost forgotten to text her address, so she'd typed a hasty text, hoping he got it in time. She stood , turning back and forth in the mirror, smoothing imaginary creases and wondering if she should change. But that choice was taken away from her when a knock sounder at the door. Megan took a deep breath, grabbing her clutch bag and slinging it over her shoulder.

The door opened and she took in the delicious sight of Aidan, the outfit he had on caused her belly to clinch and she let out a relieved laugh at his compliment.

"You look....well...if I'm honest... Gorgeous."

Megan blushed as she gave the compliment. She'd wanted to say he looked deliriously sexy but for the life of her she couldn't say it! Thank god she'd sprayed Chanel on before he arrived because Aian smelly delicious. For some reason unbeknownst to her, Megan had a bit of a thing for men's cologne. And Aidan's smelled divine. Megan slipped past Aidan, gasping slightly as her breasts brushed against his arm. The blush deepened and she quickly shut the door behind her. Forcing her voice not to mess up too much.

"Shall we...um...go?"

It was probably just her being over sensitive, she hoped that Aidan hadn't noticed her gasp. Now if she could just get get now red face under control...

Aidan smiled at her compliment.

"Likewise", he said, not able to take his eyes off her. She smelled incredible too. She moved past him, feeling her breasts against his arm. He somehow managed to keep his composure, but he was secretly wondering those full breasts looked like. Snapping himself out of his stare, he smiled at her as she asked whether they should get going.

"Let's go!"

They made the short walk off campus to the restaurant. Amazingly, no media were waiting at the restaurant. He was glad, one because he hated the attention, and two he didn't want rumours flying about his date.

Inside, the maitre'd had a surprised look on his face as two of his regulars would be dining together. He seated in a secluded corner of the restaurant, and presented them with menus.

Megan's smile grew at his response and she enjoyed the short walk to the restaurant. Getting a few glares from some of the girls on campus, frowning at the attention. Attention was never something she craved. The times when she'd receive her report card and her mum would make a huge fuss of her, telling everyone she knew about her"genius" daughter. Megan preferred to go with the flow of life, people who loved to brag made her shudder. And she found it an unattractive quality to say the least. So, she did her best to ignore the whispered conversations and glances they received as they walked to the restaurant. Aidan seemed to be oblivious.

Megan felt the ripple of awareness spread across the room as they walked in. She noticed heads craning , trying to catch a glimpse of Aidan probably. Particularly a group of college girls sat at a table who openly ogled him and shot scathing looks to Megan. She felt herself shrink into Aidan's side and avoid their looks as the maitre'd led them to a secluded corner.

She slid into the booth, chewing on her lip as she thought about those women ogling Aidan. A flicker of surprise washed over her. Was she jealous? The guy hadn't spoken to her before yesterday and already she felt like she'd known him for a long time. Megan wet her lips and picked up a menu.

"I don't know why I bother looking at the menu... I always tend to get the same thing. Is that sad?"

Aidan did notice the attention they were getting. Whether this was the usual attention he got, or the fact he had a gorgeous girl on his right, he did not know. But as usual, he ignored it. When they arrived at the restaurant, the staring continued, which a group of girls he was used to following and harassing him around campus. When they seated, he gave all his attention to Megan and the menu. He chuckled sightly at her comment.

"Not sad at all, in fact I do the same thing."

Then he had a thought.

"How about we both order our usual dishes, but I have yours, and you have mine. What do you think?"

Megan chuckled at that God, we both live life on the edge." She teased, smiling playfully. Eyes grazing down to where his shirt was slightly open, showing off a small expanse of skin that made her want to reach out and run her fingers across it.

She started as he asked her a question and she looked away guiltily, embarrassed at her staring problem. Megan nodded, glancing into his eyes and back at the fable. Fingers tracing a pattern on the tablecloth.why couldn't she just be more confident? The fact that she'd never been on a date before did not help. No academia book had prepared her for tonight. She may be intelligent but when it came to guys and dates...she was an idiot.

"That's actually a really good idea... Unless you like prawns because I am notputting them in my mouth."

Aidan laughed at her prawn comment,

"How does chicken lasagna sound? It is a bit weird, I know. But trust me, it's delicious."

Her staring did not go un-noticed, but it was different to the staring he was used to. There was genuine affection in it. He stared back a bit at the absolutely beautiful girl across from him. Her dress gave a hint of cleavage, which his eyes were immediately drawn to. 'God Aidan, get a grip! She's going to think you're some creep!'

The waiter saved him by returning to take their order. He smiled,

"The lady will be having the chicken lasagna."

He smile at Megan,

"And what will I be having?"

Megan's face scrunched up and she laughed, "chicken lasagna? It really does sound weir...but...I believe I can trust you."

She blushed as he returned her gaze and she found herself locked in his gaze. Those eyes could make a girl drown in them. The skin of her lip found itself once more between her teeth but this time it wasn't nerves. Megan watched his gaze dip and glanced down, giggling as she realised he was looking at her cleavage. Looked like they were both perverts!

Megan grinned, a pleased smile at being called a lady.

"You Monsieur will be having linguine amatricana. It's linguine with bacon, chilli and garlic in a tomato sauce." The waiter smiled at their obvious flirting.

"And what would you both like to drink with your meals?"

Megan knew she should go with wine, everyone drank wine on dates. Classy women anyway... But Megan had never acquired a taste for it, glancing at Aidan with an almost sheepish grin she turned to the waiter.

"Could I have a cider please?"

Aidan couldn't believe it.

"OK you've been stalking me!", he said with a laugh.

"I'll have a cider too please", his comment now making sense. This girl was almost the female version of himself, except she was smoking hot.

"My Irish heritage has given me a taste for cider", he said with a smile. "And your dish sounds a lot more normal than mine. Hope it tastes good!"

Megan laughed too, although she wasn't sure why. His laugh was infectious and filled her with warmth. Then it because clear as he ordered his own drink. These coincidences ere getting more and more spooky. Either that or they were made for each other...

"It's a favourite in Wales too. I can't get enough of it. You know...you should be careful... I have a thing for the Irish," she smiled flirtatiously , she was getting the hang of this! "Normal?! Is that a code word for boring? And if yours is awful , you'll have to make it up to me."

Just as she was about to build up the courage to reach over and grasp his hand , one of the women from the table that had been ogling him earlier sauntered up behind him. She was a buxom blonde, breasts out for anyone to see in a plunging red dress that barely covered her ass. But Megan couldn't help noticing that she was extremely sexy. What guys that looked like Aidan should be going for.

"Aidan, baby. You didn't call me like you promised after our night of fun...my bed has been cold without you." The girl pouted, running her hand down towards his chest. Glaring over at Megan with an evil smirk. Megan looked away, gritting her teeth and feeling like an idiot for sitting here.

Aidan was just about to respond to Megan's flirting with some of his own, when super stalker Cindy came up behind him. He sighed,

"Cindy, for the last time, please leave me alone. As for getting into my bed, you've more a chance of becoming President than that".

He stared down Cindy, willing her to go away. His remark seemed to work, as she returned to her group of bitch friends.

"I apologise for that, Megan", he said lowly. "That....bitch has been following me around ever since the regionals. I wouldn't touch her with a ten foot pole, but she has been going around telling everyone we hooked up."

He reached out and touched her hand.

"You're much more my type. And since I'm half Irish, I guess I'm yours!". he said, the smile returning to his face.

Megan watched their interaction closely. Eyebrows raised. Megan had to cover her mouth to stifle the giggle that threatened to spill from her lips at the president comment and the look of outrage on Cindy's face. Megan watched her stomp off and finally bursting out.

She shook her head , clasping his hand on impulse. Grinning.

"I don't blame her... You're quite the catch... And I'm sure you don't want to touch her with a ten feet pole but she'd definitely like to touch it." Megan giggled harder. Grinning as the waiter came by with their drinks. In the moment she grasped her drink and raised it "to your ten foot pole and being my Irish!"

Aidan had to stifle his own laugh.

"And to outrageous flirts!", nodding to her as they clinked glasses. The cider tasted really good. He was hungry and thirsty after a long day. But he was having a lot of fun with Megan. She was good looking ,charismatic and really fun to be around. She certainly didn't take herself too seriously, a quality Aidan was really beginning to like.

Shortly after, their food arrived. The dish Megan had ordered for him certainly looked good. He took a bite.

"Ohmygod, this is amazing."

Megan smiled shyly at him. She had been flirting. The realisation made her grin wider. And Aidan was flirting back! This man never ceased t amaze her. Not only was he talented and passionate but he was also warm and endearing. And his confidence was attractive, especially as it didn't bleed into arrogance. And from what she could see... His body wasn't too shabby either.

Megan took a big sip, savouring the drink. The sweetness hitting her senses and sliding coolly down her throat. The food arrived, bringing with it a delicious aroma. She looked down at her food, poking it dubiously with a fork and glancing longingly over at Aidan's meal. With a mock deep breath, and false seriousness but with very real hesitancy- she cut a piece of lasagne and put it into her mouth. A low moan escaped as the flavours burst on her tongue... Tangy tomatoes... Tender and juicy chicken . Pasta and finally the oozing cheese. Megan could only moan again and wave her fork at his food.

"I thought I'd tried heaven but now I know there is another eon and it's hear on my plate... And in my mouth. Mmph. I need to add this to my things I want to master cooking list!"

Aidan smiled as he heard Megan murmur her appreciation.

"I discovered that on my second week here. One of the seniors on the track team at the time recommended this place, and it was the first item I saw. I haven't looked back since. Although, I'll definitely be ordering this again", pulling another forkful of linguine into his mouth.

Between bites of food and sips of cider, they didn't talk much until the food was gone.

"Megan, I gotta say that was amazing".

Megan nodded , just about listening as she she couldn't stop forkful after forkful of pasta past her lips. She realised she'd have to tell him how she knew this place so well and grimaced at the realisation. "It's gorgeous... I would have never picked it myself so I'm glad I let you choose mine. I found this place on a particularly late night of studying. I'd been studying for hours and all the usual places were shut... And I stumbled on this place. So I grabbed a meal and I haven't looked back... Eating with someone is much more fun than eating alone."

They carried on in comfortable silence, Megan smiling at the notices of appreciation he made and making her own! She'd managed to drink her cider quite auickly and was already wondering if it's be rude to order another... Especially as he hadn't finished his.

"Mhmm, got to agree. Although I think we should have your weakness for dessert ... They do a dark chocolate brownie. We could ...share?"

Aidan smiled at her brownie comment.

"You read my mind". He grabbed the attention of the waiter. "Can we order a dark chocolate brownie, and two more ciders."

He smiled at Megan as he finished off his first cider. He didn't have training the following day, so he could enjoy himself a little bit.

The restaurant was starting to empty, leaving a few couples scattered about. They would need to leave soon, but he didn't want his date with Megan to end so soon. Then he had an idea.

"What do you say to walk along the boardwalk after this? It's a lovely evening and the tempatures are getting better."

The boardwalk was built only a few months earlier, along the banks of the river that ran through town. It gave some great views down the river, and was the perfect way to continue their date.

Megan grinned back. "Yeah... I thought that would appeal to you." Megan's smile grew as he ordered two more ciders. They seemed to be on the same wavelength, which was great. No guy had excited her like this, had treated her like this... It made her feel wanted. A feeling she had t felt in a long time. And that was lush. Or awesome

A shy smile danced on her lips and she nodded. She was relieved that he wanted this date to keep going because she didn't want this date to ever end.

"I'd love that... Trust me, the weather outisxe isn't cold. Come to Wales, that's cold!"

A groan of pleasure almost fell from her lips as the waiter placed a plate on the table, the dark chocolate brownie glistening in the light and the ciders were placed in front of them. Megan's eyes widened as she realised there was one solitary spoon in the bowl and a heart shape drawn on the plate with chocolate fudge sauce. They had been set up. Megan glanced over at the waiter and saw him and a female waiter grin and auickly busy themselves cleaning tables. Meg bit her lip as she glanced at the spoon and then his face and then felt her eyes drop to his lips.

Aidan had to laugh when he saw the plate. Had their flirting been that obvious? He looked over at Megan who had a slighty anxious look on her face. He noticed she liked biting her lip or not. Whether that was from nerves, or that she was really enjoying the moment, he did not know. He took control of the situation. He picked up the spoon, put a piece of the brownie on it, and offered it to Megan, smiling.

"I insist you go first".

Megan couldn't help but smole in return...it was a cumpulsion. Megan glanced down at the spoon and took a deep breath. Screw it! She liked this guy. And there was nothing wrong with flirting. With that decision made she leant forward, her breasts pushed together as her mouth enveloped the spoon and her mouth was drenched in chocolate. A low moan of pleasure slipped out and her eyes opened and locked with his as she slid her mouth off the spoon, almost daring him to top what she'd just done.

"Delicious... Your turn?"

Aidan's eyes nearly left his head as Megan's cleavage increased as she leaned forward to accept the spoon. He couldn't help but stare as he watched her envelop the spoon with her luscious lips. Their eyes met as she finished it off. She then took the spoon from him, filled it for him, and then offered it to him. He smiled. He had to do something to beat her actions.

His eyes never leaving hers, he leaned forward and took the spoon in his mouth. However, when the chocolate heaven met his tongue, he couldn't help but close his eyes and savour the taste.

"Good god, that is amazing", his eyes opening to meet hers again.

Megan waited, holding the spoon expectantly. But she wasn't ready for the sensual sight of him locking his eyes with hers, and taking it into his mouth. Her own eyes almost fluttering closed as his did. Her mouth had gone dry and her breathing had quickened. Megan took a big sip of her cider, taking a second to get her head out of the gutter.

She took the spoon and mimed as if she was going to give him another mouthful and as he began to lean forward she quickly swooped it into her own mouth. Laughing around the gooey chocolate. A tiny bit escaping to the corner of her mouth.

"I think this might be too good to share."
