Well. I did say it was finished. And, well, it was finished. Not really a happily ever after finish (Muffie don't do happily ever after), but it was a good ending.
And then someone said "The major needs some competition." I thought, yeah right, too late, the story is done. Over. Finito. God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen, Let Nothing You Rewrite. And then I was wallowing around on the floor, listening to Staind's Epiphany on permanent repeat and somewhere around the ninth go through, I started thinking what if. . . .
And now the previous Chapter 10 has been replaced with an almost finished new Chapter 10. I believe the climax will come around Chapter 12 or 13, maybe even 14. Then we'll have a nice epilogue/final chapter.
The major has some competition and he is so not taking it with any grace whatsoever. Heh. I like it when a man gets all fiesty.
