Remembered something real that almost happened - wife and I were invited to a cocktail party/reception by one of her business contacts - very Euro but not exclusively so crowd of professionals/Expats and wives. I realized that everyone else had left (I was waiting for the wife to make the exit decision since it was her contact). I was dancing with host's adult (only slightly younger than ourselves) daughter and my wife was dancing with our older host. He was really putting the moves on her but she was doing her best to slow him down but was not pulling away. And I realized his daughter was doing the same to me. I was irritated by my wife not shutting him down (she later assured me she could 'handle him') but one might say I was terrified by the daughter! In other circumstances, perhaps I would have let it play out and see where it led but I insisted we had to go. (On another later occasion, I gave the daughter a lift home from a different event and found her again very aggressively making the moves on me - again, it was tempting, but this time my wife and her MOTHER were expecting me back home for dinner shortly. I think if not for the Mother being there visiting us at the time, I just might have let it happen that time!
